On January 16, Beijing time, according to the Manchester Evening News, Valencia boss Lin Rongfu approved the team to sign Manchester United midfielder Mata back.
Valencia have reportedly secured permission from the board to sign Manchester United player Juan Mata this summer. Team owner Lin Rongfu is keen to see Mata return and Valencia are eager to strike a free transfer deal with their former star.
The 32-year-old Mata moved to Valencia from Real Madrid's academy in the summer of 2007, moved to Chelsea after four years of playing, and then moved to Manchester United where he has been playing ever since.
