Juan Miranda: Happy for Garvey's outburst, I will always be grateful to Barca

Live bar December 3, Betis will challenge Barca away in this round of La Liga, Betis barca veteran Juan Miranda recently interviewed by Spain's "World Sports Newspaper", he answered some questions raised by reporters.

—— You are going to visit Camp Nou with the team this weekend, how to deal with it?

It's going to be another special moment, I'll be reunited with a lot of old friends, and the situation in the table (Betis is 5th with 27 points, Barca are 7th with 23 points in a few games) makes the game very intense, we are two teams that work hard to get ahead.

You played here last season, but there are no spectators, what are your expectations for how Barça fans will receive you?

I hope all the best, I love the Barça fans and the club, they gave me the opportunity to play professional football and I will always be grateful to Barça.

Do you think Xavi will regenerate Barca?

It's too early to talk about that, but I think it's a good option, Xavi knows the club completely, he knows how to get Barca back to the top and I'm sure he'll be a great manager at Barca.

- You have a good relationship with Garvey in Ramasia, did you expect his outburst?

He's like a little brother of mine, I was there when he went to Barca, he's from Sevilla, from betis academy, so I'm looking forward to him, I talked to him in the national team and he enjoyed it very much and at the same time still couldn't believe what was going on, I was happy for him, he was a man and played football with 10 points.

- You left Barcelona completely this summer, did Coman talk to you?

I never spoke to Koeman and I thought there was a chance to stay because he took me with him in pre-season preparation but then got me back on team B.

- Is your door back to Barcelona completely closed?

No one can say anything about the future, I'm happy at Betis now and hope to play here for many years.
