The years 1979 and 1992 were two milestone years in the history of our country. The song "The Story of Spring" takes Comrade Deng Xiaoping's two southern tours as the clue and shows people the earth-shaking changes brought about by reform and opening up in a regal way.
In the spring of 1992, a news newsletter entitled "The Oriental Wind Comes full of spring" flew like wings all over the motherland. The songwriter Jiang Kairu was shocked by the passionate narrative in the newspaper and went to Shenzhen alone. Jiang Kairu, who arrived in Shenzhen, was infected by the scene in front of him and decided to stay.
The song is profound and intimate
This year, Jiang Kairu wrote the first draft of "The Story of Spring" in his diary. At the beginning of 1993, Jiang Kairu handed over the lyrics to Wang Yougui, a professional composer who had been wandering in Shenzhen for three years, and the scene depicted in the lyrics made Wang Yougui feel empathy.
Later, the two authors gave the song to Ye Xuquan, an amateur songwriter who was active in Shenzhen at the time, for further revision. Ye Xuquan elevated the intention of the whole song from Shenzhen to the height of the whole of China, from the special zone to the great cause of reform and opening up. It tells about big themes and big people, and at the same time, it is like the common words of the people, real and delicate, making people feel like a spring breeze and feeling very kind.
