It is worth mentioning that king Wu of Zhou, the founding king of the Zhou Dynasty, was also a poet, but one of his poems was not discovered until recent years, and his new image was reshaped. What kind of poetry is it? And what was written? If you also want to know, the following Xiaobian will reveal the secret to you from scratch.

King Wu of Zhou was named Ji Fa (姬发), and his father was Ji Chang (姬昌), the King of Zhou Wen, who was originally a prince of the Shang Dynasty, and later King Wen asked for talents from all over the world, such as Lü Shang, Boyi and Shu Qi, laying a solid foundation for the later "King Wu of Wu". After king Wen's death, King Wu Ji fa succeeded to the throne, he succeeded his father Zhi Li to rule, and in 1046 BC, he united other tribes to fight against the tyrannical King of Shang, and finally defeated the Shang Dynasty after the Battle of Muye, and since then the world has become the world of the Zhou Dynasty, as stated in the Book of Poetry, "Wei Shi Shang Father, Shi Wei Ying Yang".

King Wu of Zhou was not only a monarch, but also a poet, and he could see if he wrote this poem well or not

In the historical materials of the pre-Qin Dynasty, ji Fa, the king of Zhou Wu, destroyed the Shang dynasty and built the Zhou Dynasty, sealing the state, and shaping his image of "fixing the world with force", so he seemed to have become synonymous with "force", but what is the truth of history? We're going to put a big question mark on that. Common sense of life tells us that everyone is not one-sided, but a multi-faceted image, and so are ancient historical figures. Therefore, through the study of the Warring States Bamboo Jane- Qinghua Jane, historians discovered an unknown King Wu of Zhou, and also showed us another side of King Wu of Zhou that was not known, thus changing the views of historians at home and abroad on King Wu of Zhou.

King Wu of Zhou was not only a monarch, but also a poet, and he could see if he wrote this poem well or not

Tsinghua Jane, that is, a batch of bamboo Janes collected by Tsinghua University, about 2500 pieces, records a large number of pre-Qin ancient books, and many of them are the historical materials that became extinct after qin shi huang burned books and pit Confucianism, and the value and significance of historical research are extraordinary. After more than three years of efforts, experts at Tsinghua University have restored some of the contents of bamboo jane, including more than 60 ancient books, such as "Shang Shu", "Jin Yun" and "Baoxun".

Among the many bamboo texts, experts were also surprised to find that two poems were written on several pieces of bamboo, namely "The Poem of King Wu of Zhou to Bi Gong", which reads "Le Le Zhi Jiu, Feast with Ergong; Ren Ren Brothers, Shu Min and Tong." Fang Zhuang Fang Wu, Mu Muk Bang; Jia Jue Quick Drink, Hou Jue Nai Cong". After in-depth research, experts determined that the "BiGong" was the fifteenth son of King Wen of Zhou, that is, the younger brother of King Wu of Zhou, so it can be seen that this is a drinking poem written by King Wu of Zhou to his younger brother. There is also a poem written by King Wu of Zhou to Bi Gong, namely"Ying Ying Rong Fu, Zhuang Wu Zhao Zhao, Yu De Nai Jie." The king has a purpose to drink, and I am worried and floating, drunk and drunk, and I will not repair it tomorrow."

King Wu of Zhou was not only a monarch, but also a poet, and he could see if he wrote this poem well or not

If you have studied the Book of Poetry, you will find that both poems of King Wu of Zhou use the technique of "Fu Bixing", and the content is concise and clear, and the intention is profound, which shows that its literary style is extraordinary. The content of the two poems is not difficult to understand, both express the generous words of the chest when drinking, and also express the pride of King Wu of Zhou. According to historical records, Bi Gongwen Tao Wuluo was a heavy courtier of the Zhou Dynasty and was deeply appreciated by King Wen of Zhou, so King Wu of Zhou, as an older brother, was also willing to write poetry for his younger brother Bi Gong.

In fact, it is not surprising that King Wu of Zhou could compose poetry, because during the reign of his father King Wen of Zhou, all the talents of the world gathered in the Kingdom of Zhou, and even became the staff of King Wen of Zhou, so he also became a teacher of King Wu of Zhou, so that he received a good education from an early age, especially in poetry and song, after all, there was nothing to learn at that time. Although King Wu of Zhou grew up to lead the army, the ability to write poetry and song has been integrated into his bones, and he can write a poem at his fingertips, so there is also the "Zhou Wu King Zhi Bi Gong Poem".

King Wu of Zhou was not only a monarch, but also a poet, and he could see if he wrote this poem well or not

It is worth mentioning that at that time, the social force could only make people submit on the surface, and to make people convinced, they had to rely on culture, and the carrier of culture was poetry, so King Wu of Zhou grasped the force with one hand and culture with the other, and through poetry, he broadened the world's talents and heroes, consolidated the foundation of the rule of the Zhou Dynasty, and also reflected the lofty ideals and noble personality charm of King Wu of Zhou. As we all know, the Zhou Dynasty pays attention to etiquette, and it has a close relationship with King Wu of Zhou, if you trace back to the source, it is because King Wu of Zhou has poetry in his bones.

King Wu of Zhou was not only a monarch, but also a poet, and he could see if he wrote this poem well or not

Now more than 3,000 years later, the influence of the Zhou Dynasty still exists, and we also want to thank Zhu Jian, who restored the image of King Wu of Zhou for us and let us know more unknown history. Xiaobian also hopes that archaeologists can find more bamboo janes, make up for the lack of historical records, and piece together a complete Chinese history.
