According to NBA reporter Sam Amico, the two veterans of the current crazy Cavaliers in the league, Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye, may choose to retire this offseason to make room and signings for the team.
Channing Fry, 34, whose current contract expires in the summer of 2018, is worth $7.42 million in salary for the 2017-2018 season. Fry averaged 18.9 minutes per game this season, averaging 9.1 points and 3.9 rebounds per game, shooting 40.9 percent from three-point range.
Richard Jefferson, 37, whose contract expires in the summer of 2019, is insecure for the 2018-2019 season, with a salary worth $2.5 million next season. Jefferson has averaged 20.4 minutes per game this season, averaging 5.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and one assist per game.
