The Eighth General Inspection of the State Council focused on the hot and difficult issues that the public and market entities strongly reflected, so it has been repeatedly searched.

On November 3, Premier Li Keqiang presided over the executive meeting of the State Council to listen to the report on the eighth general inspection, asking all localities and departments to focus on the needs of market players and the concerns of the masses, strive to resolve the pain points of people's livelihood blockages, and use government funds to grasp the work.

Therefore, how to "use the precious financial funds on the blade" while the government is living a "tight life" is a key issue to test the financial governance ability of governments at all levels.

Judging from the problems discovered by the general inspector, in the future, we should further strengthen the people-centered governing concept of local governments, so that leading cadres can truly put the demands of enterprises and the expectations of people's livelihood in their hearts. Leading cadres and public officials should also think differently and empathize with each other, and take the urgent difficulties and anxieties of enterprises and the people as their most concerned issues to solve.

It is necessary to promote government departments to strengthen the attention, response and solution of the difficulties of market entities and the concerns of the public, and strive to resolve the blockages, difficulties and pain points in the business environment and basic people's livelihood. It is necessary to continue to promote the reform of "decentralization and management of services", accelerate the digital transformation of the government, and solve the problems of business environment optimization and basic people's livelihood security through reform and innovation. It is necessary to replicate and popularize innovative working mechanisms such as "handling complaints as soon as they are received", so that the public and market entities can reflect problems and offer suggestions through channels such as government hotlines and social media, and work together with government departments to discover, diagnose and solve problems.

We should also guide local governments to correct their outlook on development and establish a correct outlook on political achievements, avoid pursuing sensational effects and image projects, and pay more attention to doing practical things in a down-to-earth manner. At present, the financial pressure of local governments is relatively large, and they must live a "tight life" in terms of the government's own office expenditure, but they should not only not be discounted in terms of tax reduction and fee reduction and people's livelihood protection, but also further inclined. For example, some northern regions have increased financial subsidies, and the heating period in advance in winter and the extension of the heating period in spring not only cooperate with the epidemic prevention and control work, but also warm the people through the winter, which is a typical performance in this regard.

Supervision and inspection work is conducive to discovering problems and promoting rectification, and in the future, all kinds of supervision work such as the State Council's general supervision should achieve three-point joint issuance, supervise the key points, find out the difficulties, and launch the highlights.

The general inspector should focus on key tasks in view of major problems, clarify the core direction of policy implementation, and truly be targeted.

The great inspector should look at the essence through the phenomenon, truly find out the key problems and prominent pain points affecting the implementation of the policy, so that the relevant problems can be solved like a cattle solution.
