In order to play "Yang Zirong" well, Fu Xiru specially visited the Yang Zirong Martyrs Memorial Hall, and also made a special field investigation to Chongqing's Zhadi Cave, Henan Hongqiqu and other revolutionary holy places.

The previous characterization is slightly "symbolic", but it only emphasizes his spirit of seeing death as a homecoming and not being afraid of sacrifice, and this person seems to have endless wisdom and exist like a god. But I don't think it's possible for a man to be free of fear and confusion. After listening to some of the descendants of the revolution, I got the answer - it was the wisdom of the revolution, the power of faith, that enabled the martyrs to overcome the fears of human nature. This is more precious and more worthy of our learning. I think the characters I create have gone further emotionally and humanly, more "heart-wrenching".
Participating in "Wise Tiger Mountain" for many years, Fu Xiru recalled that in the very beginning, especially in northern cities, the audience was mostly elderly. Sing on stage, sing along offstage. Now, young audiences who understand Peking Opera are constantly emerging in the theater. This is a re-fan of the traditional art of Peking Opera, and he believes that the new choreography has also played an important role in it.
At the end of last year, the new drama "Changing People" was adapted from the popular TV series "No War in Peiping", and Fu Xiru played the role of Liu Ye in the TV series "Fang Meng'ao". Taking "Wise Tiger Mountain" and "Changing People" as examples, Yang Zirong and Fang Meng'ao both have the action of lifting their coats. However, the two come from different origins and have different identities.
Yang Zirong is a bandit who is mixed in, and has a flying and sloppy temperament. Fang Meng'ao is a "rich second generation", and if he studies abroad, he must be a fashionable and elegant gentleman.
I have to treat myself as a character and have insight into their lives and backgrounds, so that the audience doesn't look at Fang Meng'ao and say, "Yang Zirong is out!" ”。 The new choreography can only truly stand up until it withstands the test of the audience in the new era!
When asked whether he had reached the "stage maturity stage", Fu Xiru first expressed the view that art is endless, and then he said:
In fact, at this age, you can't be too humble, because humility means shirking responsibility.
Looking at the current situation of the opera industry, Fu Xiru believes that every opera artist should take up the burden so that future generations can have an example to learn from. In a sense, honor is not only honor, but also pressure and responsibility.
Talking about his hobbies, Fu Xiru frankly said:
Although I am not a "drama cancer patient" who cannot eat and talk without the stage image, Peking Opera is my profession and my hobby, and I am fortunate that the two overlap. But I also like music, movies, and playing games. Some of my favorite technology products, robots, like some game graphics and worldview, are the hearts of young people, and I also hope to feel the young aesthetic from them, so that I can get inspiration and create works that young people love more.
