There are thousands of residents living along the railway line of the Party School section of Wuyishan City, and the flow of people and traffic is dense, which is the key area of safety publicity. Once a day, either in the morning or in the evening. I have visited every household in the party school section and told them about railway safety. Railway safety cannot be overlooked.
One day in 2009, a deaf-mute man named Chen Jinsheng was hit by a speeding train and flew into the drainage ditch when he crossed the railway with a log on his back, and when I arrived at the scene, he opened his eyes and breathed heavily, wanting to scream that he could not, although we sent him to the hospital in time for rescue, but still failed to save his life.
I feel guilty that if we had been a little deeper and more solid in our safety advocacy work, maybe this accident would not have happened. After that, I conducted a more in-depth investigation of residents along the more than 100 kilometers of railway lines under my jurisdiction, especially some disabled people, and listed them as key targets. I walked dozens of kilometers every day, went to the homes of residents to make friends with them, pulled up family routines, established residents' accounts, and tried my best to actively carry out the publicity work of knowing the railway, protecting the iron, and loving the railway, and trying my best to reduce railway traffic accidents. Because it is my duty to keep them safe.
For more than 30 years, my efforts have also been supported, supported and sincerely rewarded by the masses along the railway line.
The party and the people have given me this lofty post, I have no reason not to do my job well, I want to use practical actions to be worthy of the police badge on my head and this sacred police uniform, this is my original intention as a Communist Party member.
