On the evening of May 31, the series of short dramas "Ideal Shines on China" broadcast on Hunan Satellite TV told the story of Wang Boxiang, who fully supported and promoted the Shouguang Winter Warm Vegetable Greenhouse Experiment during his tenure as secretary of the Shouguang County Party Committee, vigorously developed the Shouguang Vegetable Wholesale Market, and led the people of Shouguang to create the country's famous and largest vegetable wholesale market in Jiangbei.

In the mid-1980s, Wang Boxiang (Du Chun) was determined to break through the "plan" ice to help farmers in Shouguang County get out of poverty. While establishing a wholesale vegetable market facing the whole country in Jiuxiang Town, he promoted winter-warmed greenhouses and sent Wang Leyi, the secretary of the party branch of Sanyuan Zhu Village, to the northeast to invite Han Yongshan, a technical master.

Wang Leyi invited Han Yongshan to the village with difficulty, but the villagers who had just experienced the cabbage slow sales incident were not moved, and even suspected that Han Yongshan was a liar, and the humiliated Han Yongshan was ready to return home. Wang Boxiang hurried to stop him and handed him the keys to his new house, while promising to receive all of Han Yongshan's family from Shouguang and give him the treatment of changing farmers to non-farmers.

At the mobilization meeting, Wang Boxiang encouraged the villagers to plant out-of-season vegetables and promised to solve most of the greenhouse construction funds, and the villagers considered their current income and the initial investment in the planting of the shed, and no one was willing to be the first bird. The village looks at the village, the household looks at the household, and the masses look at the party members and cadres. In the end, at the appeal of Wang Boxiang, 17 party members in Sanyuan Zhu Village set an example, and one of them claimed a greenhouse and started a pilot project. Fortunately, all 17 greenhouses were successfully tested, and each greenhouse earned 20,000 to 30,000 yuan. After seeing the tangible results, the villagers followed closely. In 1991, Shouguang's vegetable greenhouses grew to 33,000.

No matter how well Shounan's vegetables are grown, Shouguang County is only half rich and half poor! In the face of the saline-alkali beach where there is no grass in Shoubei, Wang Boxiang mobilized people to engage in the development of Shoubei, and 200,000 people joined forces to build roads and dams, build ditches, build high-standard taitian, salt pans, and shrimp ponds, and turn one acre and one mu of butterflies into cornucopias in the saline-alkali beach...
