To understand the world begins with listening to the voice of the world, and to understand the man of this world begins with listening to his voice.
This issue of Hello Life begins a journey of sound. This special journey begins in a poetic place – Hangzhou. Hangzhou is a city of animation, and anime dubbing is an important part of anime production. The guests came to Hangzhou Runwu Freeze Frame Studio to explore the secrets of anime dubbing.
Anime has a complex production process, usually, animators can draw 3-4 seconds of animation a day, and there is a huge workload behind the wonderful animation. Anime dubbing is an extremely important process in anime creation. The guests experienced stop-motion sound recording, accompanied by sound as they captured the subject frame by frame and then projected it continuously. The guests took a hard look at it and gave the anime sound a lot of ideas.
Immediately afterwards, the guests went to the recording studio of the China Academy of Art to experience the recording of dubbing clips. In the studio, the guests also found tools such as large water tanks, and if live-action film and television can also use human voices, then for anime, every sound needs to be created by a voice actor. Just as Pinocchio, who was endowed with humanity, eventually became a human, every anime image also has a soul because it is given a voice. Having a soul because of sound is the secret of dubbing and the secret of sound.
Dubbing work requires care, seriousness, imagination, and is how the guests feel in the studio. Dubbing is not just dubbing, it's also acting. And the real performance is not a game, but a difficult art. Whether it is acting or dubbing, it is the skill of the craftsmen behind it that is tested. Behind the excellence, their name is called Anime People. Through experience and participation, the guests also had a deep understanding of the craftsmanship spirit of anime dubbing.
Life is enriched by sound
What is the sound you remember most in your life? This is a topic of this issue of Hello Life. Dong Li said that what impressed him most was that he heard more sounds of nature through the program. Nigmat said that the sound of his grandmother's burial was something he would never forget. From now on, know what is eternal separation between heaven and man. One voice actor said that sound also needs to be experienced, and without experiencing a sound, it is difficult to accurately express this sound. You have to feel the various sounds with your heart before you can express them.
In this episode, the guests also began to try to record a variety of sounds, the sound of brushing teeth, the sound of washing faces, the sound of streams flowing, the sound of stepping on leaves... It turned out that there were so many voices between heaven and earth; it turned out that there were so many stories behind the sounds.
