Bianjiang Village is located on the north bank of the middle reaches of the Zijiang River, belonging to Jiangnan Town, Anhua County, where the environment is beautiful, the soil is fertile, is the birthplace of the world's tea king "Qianliang Tea", known as "Jiangnan Granary". However, due to factors such as labor outflow, the land here has been deserted for a long time in previous years, and no one has cultivated it. In order to solve the dilemma, the general branch of the village party fully solicited the opinions of the masses and organized the establishment of the Yujiang Planting Professional Cooperative in Anhua County. Last year, the Anhua County Science and Technology Expert Service Group settled in the village to guide the cooperative to make full use of existing resources to develop a large-scale modern agricultural industry and help rural revitalization.

The first is to select the best varieties. This year, the cooperative piloted the planting of "giant rice" with long grains, round and full, high yield and good quality, and a total of 180 mu of trial planting. Judging from the harvest situation, the yield per mu has reached about 600 kg, the rice harvest is expected to reach 100,000 kg, and the rice harvest can be produced 50,000 kg. The cooperative cooperates with the rice sales point in Changsha to sell rice directly through the sales point, and the net profit is expected to increase by 600,000 yuan.

Under the guidance of the Science and Technology Commissioner, the cooperative adopts the comprehensive breeding mode of rice and fish, and innovates the integration and complementary advantages of rice cultivation technology and aquaculture technology, and the symbiosis and mutual benefit between "giant rice" and rice and fish greatly reduce the pests and diseases of rice and insects and reduce agricultural non-point source pollution. Rice, flowers, fish and fish meat is tender, rich in nutritional value, the market price is high, and it is expected to generate a net profit of 200,000 yuan this year.
The third is to benefit farmers. Cooperatives employ villagers to produce, increase the source of income for villagers, and drive surrounding farmers to increase their incomes and become rich.
In the next step, the cooperative plans to further optimize the planting and breeding mode after accumulating experience for 2 years, continue to expand the scale of planting, and develop regional characteristic industries with the rice-fish symbiosis breeding mode that combines giant rice and rice and flower fish, so as to promote farmers' income and prosperity and achieve rural revitalization.
