The Daoyah Scenic Area is located on the southern outskirts of Chengguan District in Lhasa, Tibet. It is about 20 kilometers away from the city center. The area boasts high-altitude snow-capped mountains, glaciers, lakes, as well as unique Tibetan culture and folklore. The breathtaking scenery has earned it the nickname of the "natural dynamic museum of Tibet".
The scenic spots in the area include Daocheng, Yading, Dunhuang Valley, Princess Hill, and the ancient mosque, among which Daocheng and Yading are the most famous. The main peak of Daocheng is Hai Luogou with an altitude of about 5,958 meters, named after its shape, which resembles a rice ear. Yading is a picturesque landscape of glaciers and high-altitude grasslands, and its highlights include the sun and golden mountain and Gongga mountain, which are considered sacred by tourists.
