（131）Final Exam
It was the final examination for the English course at the local university. The examination was two hours long, and exam booklets were provided. The professor was very strict and told the class that any exam that was not on his desk in exactly two hours would not be accepted and the student would fail. A half hour into the exam , a student came rushing in and asked the professor for an exam booklet.“You're not going to have time to finish this,”the professor stated sarcastically as he handed the student a booklet.
“Yes I will,”replied the student. He then took a seat and began writing.
After two hours,the professor called for the exams, and the students stood up and handed them in. All except the late student, who continued writing. A half hour later,the last student came up to the professor who was sitting at his desk preparing for his next class. He tried to put his exam on the stack of exam booklets already there.
"If you can do this, I won't accept it. You're late." Said the professor coldly.
The student seemed incredulous and angry. "Do you know who I am?"
"No, to be honest, I don't know." Replied the professor.
"Do you know who I am?" The student asked again.
"I don't know, I don't care." Said the professor with a haughty air.
"Good." Replied the student. He quickly lifted up the pile of papers that had been handed in, stuffed in his own, and went out of the classroom.
期末考試
當地大學正在舉行英語期末考試。考試一共兩個小時，試卷已經發下去了。教授非常嚴格，他告訴全班學生，如果兩小時内試卷沒有交到他面前的課桌上，就算不及格。考試進行了半個小時後，一個學生沖了進來，向教授要卷子。
“你會來不及做完的。”教授一邊把試卷遞給學生，一邊這麼挖苦他。“我會做完的。”學生回答。然後他坐了下來，開始答題。
兩個小時後，教授宣布收試卷，學生們都站了起來，把卷子交了，隻有那個遲到的學生還在那寫着。半個小時後，他站了起來，向教授走去。教授正坐在桌子邊備課。這個學生想把他的試卷放到已經交的那堆卷子上。
“你能這樣做，我不會收的。你交晚了。”教授冷冷地說。
學生似乎難以置信，而且憤怒了。“你知道我是誰嗎？”
“不，說實話我不知道。”教授回答。
“你知道我是誰嗎？”學生又問了一邊。
“不知道，我也不在乎。”教授帶着一副高傲的神态說。
“那就好。”學生回答。他迅速掀起那堆已經交來的試卷，把他自己的卷子塞了進去，走出了教室。
