After five years, Ah Yan's third solo album "Becoming such an adult, and not shameful" was officially launched on November 8. In this album, Ah Yan uses a more inclusive and frank posture to tell how these two selves shake hands and talk and coexist together.

Through the main line of "late ripening", Ah Yan connects the ten songs into a whole, and the unified subject of all the songs is the contemporary urban crowd that should have matured but is not yet ready like her. From his own female perspective, Ah Yan completely recorded the process of "maturity" from the inside out.

Five years of accumulation and transformation have enabled Ah Yan to walk freely between notes and characters. With her keen perception, she records the vicissitudes of the urban jungle and the dappled inner scenery of the late-maturing youth, and there is just the right sense of warmth and humor between the lines. And she is so changeable and unpredictable that neither the singing voice nor the brisk electric rhythm can give her an accurate definition. Perhaps this is also a kind of musical late ripening, but compared with Ah Yan's understanding of life, it is timely.

In addition to "The Other Me in the World", the arrangement and production of the other nine songs on the new album was personally written by the well-known producer and creator Chen Shanni. She gives each song a rich aural level and emotional dimension, and unifies the diverse genres in the unique inner expression of Ah Yan.

The album includes several co-operative songs by singer-songwriters and Ah Yan, including "Okay" by the Japanese girl band Chai and Ah Hao, and "Despite This, Still" by Xu Jiaying and Ah Hao.

It's a warm and cool album, an album that makes people think and heal people. "There is no shame in being such an adult." Ah Yan wants to give this sentence and this album to every "big child" in the late ripening.
