Recently, the Tianjin Municipal People's Government and China Telecom Group Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement to promote the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and build a "digital Tianjin". When I came to the China Telecom Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Intelligent Computing Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Computing Center") located in the Gaocun Science and Technology Innovation Park of Wuqing Beijing-Tianjin Industrial New Town, rows of cabinets were lined up one after another, and the colorful data cables were neat and orderly...... This contains infinite information, but also carries the power of technology, where a large amount of data and information is transmitted, calculated and stored. In the factory, large liquid-cooled pipes of different colors are like arteries that connect the entire computing center, and many digital application cases in many industries have been implemented with the support of the computing center, bringing tangible value to all walks of life.
As an important computing infrastructure project jointly constructed and operated by Tianjin Telecom and Beijing Telecom to serve the coordinated development strategy of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the first phase of the computing center project was put into use at the end of 2021, and has completed the construction of 8 data centers, 3 power centers and 1 production command and dispatch center, with a carrying capacity of 28,000 racks, and the computing power capacity can fully cover the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regional network.
The millisecond-level intelligent access of the computing power center is like a "highway" paved with a computing power network, and its intelligent computing ecosystem can meet the computing power needs of various artificial intelligence enterprises in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. At present, the computing center has signed contracts and cooperation with 12 Internet head customers to provide computing power support for the development of 5G smart city, unmanned driving, medical scientific research and other fields, and cooperate in the construction of a new generation of information infrastructure, digital Tianjin, medical cloud, 5G+, big data, smart transportation, etc., by providing an overall solution based on the cloud-network integration smart platform, strengthening the centralized scheduling of regional multiple computing power, actively participating in the construction of smart cities, and contributing to the digital transformation of Tianjin's economy and society.
According to the staff, the computing center is making every effort to promote the construction of the first "true Wanka" liquid-cooled computing power pool in China, and it is expected that the computing power will reach 5000P by the end of June 2024. In addition to building a "1ms in Beijing", "2ms around Beijing" and "3ms in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei" intelligent computing ecosystem through Beijing Telecom, the computing center provides open, shared, inclusive and low-cost computing services for AI enterprises in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to meet the computing power needs of various AI enterprises in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.
According to the plan, the computing center will eventually reach a capacity of 42,000 racks to meet the operation needs of 500,000 servers. At that time, it will become the largest and most capable intelligent computing center in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, effectively supporting the computing power needs of industries such as artificial intelligence large models, finance, Internet, and cloud services in the capital economic circle, becoming a high-level computing power base to promote the development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei digital economy, and continuously empowering the digital transformation of thousands of industries.
In the industry, China Telecom took the lead in proposing "cloud-network integration", and adhered to the development concept of "network-based, cloud-core, network-to-cloud, cloud-network integration", and optimized the "2+4+31+X+O" cloud-network integration resource layout. The second "4" in the layout refers to the four regional centers of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao, and Shaanxi-Sichuan-Chongqing.

According to the relevant responsible comrades of Gaocun Science and Technology Innovation Park, as the main position for the development of digital economy in Wuqing District, the park also has a 140,000-square-meter low-carbon comprehensive carrier of digital intelligence industry integration - Qingshu Science and Technology Park, which has become the closest, largest and strongest professional intelligent computing industry agglomeration area in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from the core area of Beijing, and strives to build a "digital intelligence town" with the most intelligent computing characteristics in the country.
