The beautiful flute echoes in the countryside, and the smile on the children's faces at this time becomes the best scenery at the moment.

At about 4 p.m. on November 4, it was the evening nursery time of Shimen Primary School in Shimen Village, Nanlin Town, Tongshan County, Xianning, and 13 children dressed in ethnic costumes were practicing the gourd silk song "Fengwei Bamboo in the Moonlight" under the guidance of Song Shenghong, a volunteer in Guangdong.

On September 24 last year, Ms. Song Shenghong came to Tongshan County with the Shenzhen Writers Group to participate in the exchange of style exchange activities, and went to Shimen Primary School in Nanlin Shimen Village to donate funds for schooling. This year, she learned that Shimen Primary School lacked music teachers, and she came to support teaching to teach children to learn musical instruments.

On October 13th, Ms. Song Shenghong prepared her bags and set off from Shenzhen to Teach at Shimen Primary School in Tongshan County, Xianning, where she taught 13 girls and 3 teachers to blow gourd silk. Students from grades 3 to 6 are free to register and start at 4:30 p.m. every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, practicing for 45 minutes and planning 18 lesson hours.

From the short songs "Arirang", "Kangding Love Song", "Golden Peacock Gently Jumping", to the more difficult "Wedding Oath", "Pine tail bamboo in the moonlight" and so on. Song Shenghong patiently taught over and over again, teaching by hand, and the children loved her class very much, and they made rapid progress one by one.

It is understood that Shimen Primary School plans to hold a debriefing performance for these 13 children on November 25. "I was very touched by the children's love of music, and I can often see that the children are still practicing seriously after class, and some of the children are very musically talented and can teach as soon as they are taught." Ms. Song Shenghong said that after the training, the three teachers participating in the training will relay the training of students, and they can also communicate with her online. She said that in the future, if she has the opportunity, she will take the children out to perform and bring them to a bigger stage.

Ms. Song Shenghong, 51 years old this year, is now a member of the Shenzhen Writers Association, and after retirement, she served as a loving teacher responsible for the popularization and dissemination of national wind music, and was awarded the honorary title of "Excellent Volunteer of Shenzhen".
