Kumarosh (344-413), transliterated as Kumarosh, also known as Kumarosh, or Rosh for short. Originally from Tianzhu, he was born in the Guizi State of the Western Regions (Kuqa County, Xinjiang). His father's name was Kumo Luoyan, and his mother's name was Qibo, which was a combination of his parents' names, which means "tongshou" in Chinese. During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, he was a senior monk of later Qin and a famous translator of Buddhist scriptures.
