At the end of the year, winter has arrived. On December 15th, the Yuezhong Bookstore, located in Zhuji Fengqiao Town, a thousand-year-old town, was filled with the warmth of spring, and the "Dark Fragrant Sleeves - Gengzi Winter Elegant Collection" activity jointly organized by the Suzhou Art Center of the Fine Arts Newspaper, the West Lake Painting Club and the Qixia Academy was warmly staged. Teachers and students of the Art Newspaper Literati Painting Workshop and local calligraphy and painting lovers in Zhuji appreciate the beauty of calligraphy and painting with the heart of a literati.

Located in Fengqiao Ancient Town Youth Street, the "Yuezhong Bookstore" has a total area of nearly 2,000 square meters and is jointly invested by two cultural investors, Xu Lingxia and Chen Songlin. The main functional areas of the bookstore include the copperplate letterpress printing exhibition hall, the National Essence Yue Opera Performance Hall, the New Book Release Hall, the Library Building, the Exhibition Hall, and the Tea Food Culture Area of the Academy.
The college also set up 6 other study rooms to commemorate the former sages, namely Wang Mian Study, Chen Hongshou Study, Yang Weizhen Study, Rao Zongyi Study, Fan Li Xishi Study and Li Qingzhao Study. Each study room is a small exhibition hall with a famous theme, displaying materials and books related to these predecessors, as well as other items such as pianos, books, and paintings that symbolize personal preferences. There are 6 patios in the college, which are arranged with plum, orchid, bamboo, stone, banana and vermilion, all of which are unique ingenuity and elegant. A few books, a wood and a stone, the scenery changes with the heart, and the steps are pleasant.
At present, most of the books in the academy are from the fine books published by the Palace Museum. The quality cultural connotations they convey and provide are hard to imagine that this is just a small school built in a small town.
According to Xu Lingxia, director of the Suzhou Art Center of fine arts newspaper, the organizer of this event, the purpose of hosting this elegant collection activity is to build a platform for artists to communicate with each other, and also to provide an opportunity for local calligraphers and painters in Fengqiao to learn and observe. Since its inception, Yuezhong Bookstore has organized many cultural and artistic exchange activities in the spirit of adding artistic and cultural atmosphere to Fengqiao Ancient Town, inheriting traditional culture, and providing a good place for local residents to exchange cultural exchanges. This time, four artists such as Jin Xinming, Ling Zhongxiang, Zhu Depeng and Zhang Xu of the West Lake Painting Association were specially invited, as well as Jin Haijiong, chairman of the Zhuji Municipal Federation of Literature and Literature, Wu Yunu, chairman of the Zhuji Municipal Artists Association, and Mo Zhennan, a lover of Suzhou Jinshi, to gather here. Although they all have different ages and backgrounds, they all use their best techniques and languages to construct an artistic activity with a very traditional aesthetic taste and a contemporary atmosphere. At the event site, the artists improvised their pens and waved, and a series of works full of literati and elegant interests jumped on the paper.
Chinese painting and calligraphy has always had the tradition of literati and scholars, academic research and improvement are inseparable from exchanges, everyone has their own strengths, through full exchange and communication, we can learn from each other's strengths.
Jin Xinming greatly appreciated this activity, and everyone will have some enlightenment in the process of communicating with each other, which is unique in our Chinese painting. No matter what the subject matter, Chinese painting and calligraphy pays attention to the charm, realm and style. The picture has virtual and real, the dots and lines form a rhythm, giving people a sense of formal beauty, on the screen, everyone forms a momentum and rhyme by expressing various contents, and all the intertwining and jagged changes of the image are a rhythm, a rhythm of beauty. This form of beauty can be fully felt through the picture, so I feel that today's activity is very meaningful, and it is also a good communication and learning for those of us involved. Yuezhong Bookstore is such a good place that it can often organize art collections, exhibitions and art training activities, and the West Lake Painting Society is willing to cooperate for a long time.

According to the organizers, in the future, Yuezhong Bookstore will gradually increase cooperation with many publishing houses, higher art academies, calligraphy and painting academies across the country - such as jointly holding new book launches, reading salons, calligraphy and painting collections, lectures on traditional Chinese studies and other colorful activities, comprehensively mobilizing cultural and artistic resources, enhancing the cultural popularity of Fengqiao Town, and promoting cultural exchanges.
During the Fengqiao period, everyone also visited the Chen Hongshou Memorial Hall, Yang Weizhen Tieya Mountain Reading Office, and Wang Mian jiuli hermitage, and experienced the artistic spirit of "Fengqiao Three Sages".
