Tencent Music issued a statement in September this year, giving up the exclusive licensing right of music copyright, and the upstream copyright owner can authorize other operators on its own.

Shortly after the release of Tencent Music's announcement, NetEase CEO Ding Lei spoke out about Tencent Music's announcement on the NetEase earnings conference call.

Ding Lei said that NetEase Cloud Music has prepared sufficient funds and is willing to carry out fair and open cooperation with copyright owners with the greatest sincerity.

On November 9, the NetEase Cloud Music App showed that the copyright of Emperor Entertainment returned to NetEase Cloud Music.

According to the official introduction, NetEase Cloud Music has obtained full music copyright authorization from Emperor Group, including many well-known artists such as Nicholas Tse, Joey Yung, Gu Juji, Li Keqin, Wang Jie and many other well-known artists.

Classic songs such as Wang Jie's "I Really Love You", Joey Yung's "Little", Wang Jie's "Unromantic Crime" and so on return one by one.

Founded in 1999, Emperor Entertainment is the cradle of popular artists in today's Hong Kong music scene.
