We read all the lead to present a different history.
As the old saying goes, "Three generations of wealth are not enough", in fact, loyalty is also sad for three generations. In the history of the Southern Song Dynasty, there was such a loyal family, full of loyal and good, but there was a treasonous descendant. If it weren't for the accumulation of virtue on the ancestors, the entire family would even be cut off because of this. This family is the Wu family of the Southern Song Dynasty.

Wu Jie was the first famous anti-Jin general from the Wu family. When Wu Jie was a teenager, he had a stable personality, was proficient in the art of war, and was good at riding and shooting, and joined the army at the end of the Northern Song Dynasty. In the early years of Jing Kang, when the Western Xia army invaded the border, Wu Jiu led more than a hundred people to pursue, captured many enemy supplies, and was promoted to deputy general for his heroic performance. Since then, Wu Jiu has begun to show his sharp edge in the army, and he has also risen all the way under the repeated achievements. It can be said that Wu Jie's whole life has been playing games with the enemy, and he has also dedicated his life to guarding the frontiers of the Southern Song Dynasty. He led the soldiers to guard the Qinfeng Fortress, so that the Jin people could never break through the Shu land, and at the same time, Wu Jiu actively implemented the tun tian policy in the local area, vigorously developed agriculture, effectively reduced the burden of the people, and won the heartfelt love of the people of Shu land.

Wu Jiu's younger brother Wu Xuan was also deeply influenced by his brother and became a solid force on the battlefield of the Southern Song Dynasty against Jin. Wu Xuan and his brother fought against jin together, relied on each other, and made countless meritorious contributions to defend the land of Qin Long. For the Wu family, it is not only brothers who fight together, but also cases where fathers and sons fight together - Wu Ting, the son of Wu Xuan, is also a famous anti-Jin general. Wu Ting was brilliant, and when he first became literate, he was already familiar with the "Spring and Autumn of the Zuo Clan", and he was deeply favored by his father, and he joined the army at the age of seventeen, and soon became the first general of Zhongshu.

In June of the fourth year of Emperor Guangzong Shaoxi(1193 AD), Wu Ting, because of overwork and overwork, asked for a letter, but before the edict could be issued, he died at the age of fifty-six. Before Wu Ting's death, he still had his heart set on the Southern Song Dynasty, and the last words described were all words of worry about the country and the people, and those who heard it were all moved to tears. These famous generals created the glory of the Wu family's court, and by the time of Wu Ting, it was already the peak. Originally, under the protection of this descendant, he could enjoy a hundred years of fame, but as a result, he produced an unworthy descendant, Wu Xi. Because of the glory of his ancestors, Wu Xi was enthroned as the Right ChengfengLang, and later promoted to the high positions of Xingzhou Zhizhou and Taiwei.

In the second year of the Kai Jubilee (1206 AD), Wu Xi betrayed the Southern Song Dynasty, which had been waiting for several generations, surrendered to the Jin Kingdom, which had been fighting for decades with his family, and asked the Jin State to make him the King of Shu. The following year, Wu Xi simply proclaimed himself the King of Shu, but just after forty days of claiming to be king, his subordinates Yang Juyuan and Li Haoyi gathered seventy warriors, armed with axes, and rushed into Wu Xi's palace. Li Gui broke into Wu Xi's room, cut off his head, and dismembered his body. The traitor was not yet forty-six years old when he died. Wu Xi's two sons, uncles, brothers, cousins, and others were all killed one by one. His comrades Xu Jingwang, Zhao Fu, Wu Xiao, and others were still outside the city, but they were also executed by Yang Juyuan. Afterwards, these people put Wu Xi's head into a box and dedicated it to the Southern Song Dynasty court.

When Emperor Ningzong of Song learned the news, he soon issued an edict to execute Wu Xi's wife, his brothers were also removed from their names, and their original official positions were abolished one by one. Although Wu Xuan's descendants were spared the death penalty, they all had to move out of Shu. As for Wu Jiu's descendants, they were exempted from sitting together and did not have to accept punishment. In this way, a once incomparably glorious family became a traitor's family overnight, and such earth-shaking changes were only because of a son who was greedy for life and feared death and loved glory.
