It is reported that before the start of the joint military exercise, the electronic reconnaissance ship had already appeared in the waters near Queensland in eastern Australia.
To this end, the Australian Ministry of Defence Darden told the media: "The Australian army has been closely monitoring this Chinese reconnaissance ship for several days, and we know that the Chinese electronic reconnaissance ship is sailing to the east coast of Australia." In fact, this is not the first time that a Chinese electronic reconnaissance ship has "praised" the US-Australia military exercise. The vessel is equipped with advanced communication systems and electronic equipment capable of collecting and intercepting electronic signals. Satellites and electronic warfare antennas on board, protected by multiple spherical radomes, can collect and jam enemy electronic signals from hundreds of kilometers away.
Logically speaking, if the Chinese "Uranus" electronic reconnaissance ship wants to intercept the electronic signals of military exercises in the United States and Australia, it is not necessary to approach the scene of the military exercises, but in fact, it can also effectively monitor the activities of the other side outside the visual distance. Obviously, China's electronic reconnaissance ships not only have to collect electronic signals from the other side, but also let the United States, Australia and other countries know that the Chinese navy is exercising its right to sail in the sea. It can be said that this is also a response to the long-term provocations of the United States and Australia in the South China Sea.

However, our naval reconnaissance vessels also have the right to "freedom of navigation" in the international field. Therefore, since US and Australian warships and aircraft can engage in so-called "flyby and freedom of navigation" activities in the South China Sea or the East China Sea, Chinese warships and aircraft can also fly or sail freely off the coast of Queensland, Hawaii and even Guam. After all, what is being monitored by China's electronic reconnaissance vessels is not just the biennial "protective sabre" military exercise, but the biennial "Rim of the Pacific" multinational joint military exercise led by the United States is also an occasion where Chinese electronic reconnaissance ships often "hold the scene." Therefore, the frequent patronage of Chinese electronic reconnaissance ships, if they feel awkward in their hearts, they will come to the South China Sea or the East China Sea to brush their presence in the future. On the contrary, since the United States, Australia and other countries are bent on provoking China's sovereignty and security, they must learn to adapt to the presence of Chinese naval vessels in any part of the Pacific.
