The western section of Meiyang Road is designed as a two-way 4-lane road, the road grade is an urban secondary trunk road, and the cross-section of the road is designed as 2.5m.Sidewalk + 5.5m Roadway Auxiliary Road + 1.5m Green Belt + 7.5m Main Road + 2.0m Green Belt + 7.5m Main Road + 1.5m Green Belt + 5.5m Sidewalk Auxiliary Road + 2.5m Sidewalk, with a total width of 36 meters
From the on-site aerial photos, it can be seen that the entire section of the western section of Meiyang Road is basically completed, the road surface is composed of two-way four lanes plus two auxiliary roads, which is asphalt pavement, the lanes and auxiliary roads and sidewalks in different directions of the main lane are divided by green belts, the road bilateral supporting sidewalks, the sidewalk surface is paved with granite stone bricks, and the overall appearance of the road is clean and tidy
From the on-site aerial photography Huamei, it can be seen that at the same time as the western section of Meiyang Road, there are three municipal branch roads of Fengming Road, Huamei Street and Xingnan Road, which are two-way 2 lanes plus sidewalks, and the road surfaces are also asphalt pavements
However, on the road surface of the new Meiyang Road West section not far from the intersection of the western section of Meiyang Road and Tampo Road, there is a road blockage point built by the original residents' bungalows, which is what we usually call "nail households"
As can be seen from the aerial footage, this "nail household" is located not far from the eastern starting point of the new Meiyang Road road, which is a one-and-a-half-story residential bungalow building, and the unit building currently accounts for about 2/3 of the total road width of Meiyang Road, completely occupying the left side of the road
At present, the road surface of the western section of the new Meiyang Road has basically been marked with road traffic signs, from the scene, the road to the "nail household" building lane is squeezed into about two-way 2 lanes, and drawn a dense speed bump, the building is surrounded by a fence of yellow and black line signs, it seems that the western section of Meiyang Road will be opened to traffic in this way
This "nail household" will undoubtedly become the obstruction point of this traffic artery after the completion of the western section of Meiyang Road, so it is hoped that the relevant parties can actively coordinate and solve it, and restore a smooth traffic condition to the whole section of Meiyang Road as soon as possible
After the completion of the new construction project in the western section of Meiyang Road, it will improve the road network structure of Rongcheng District, improve the service level of roads and pipe network facilities, and improve the traffic environment in the western part of Rongcheng Dongshan Area, which is of great significance to promoting the overall development of Rongcheng District
