Tiger Poker, January 22 -- In today's 1/16 final of the Spanish Copa del Rey, Real Zaragoza and Real Mallorca met, with two Japanese players, Shinji Kagawa and Kenei Kubo, playing the full game for their respective teams.
Shinji Kagawa was even better in this campaign, completing an assist and a free-kick that hit the crossbar, and zaragoza won 3-1 to advance to the round of sixteen.
Shinji Kagawa, 30, was a prominent figure among Japanese players in Europe, having played for Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United. The 18-year-old joined Real Madrid last summer and was loaned to Mallorca, and he is also Japan's most promising potential star.
