Xu Kang, male, Han ethnicity, Hunan Huarong people, master's degree, born in November 1980, was admitted to the Hunan Provincial Higher People's Court in August 2007, successively served as a clerk, assistant judge, first-class judge, in September 2018 as a judge of the third division of civil trial (environmental resources trial division) of the Hunan Provincial High People's Court, a fourth-level senior judge, and the leader of the business guidance team. He died in Changsha on May 30, 2020 at the age of 40 due to ineffective medical treatment.
Xu Kang has worked in the court for 12 years, is politically proficient, diligent and dedicated, has outstanding achievements, has been awarded the third class meritorious service twice, has been commended 6 times, and has been rated as an outstanding party member once, and his advanced deeds have been reported by the People's Court Daily, Hunan Daily and other media, which have produced a positive and extensive social impact and have been universally praised by the vast number of political and legal cadres and policemen and the masses of the people. In August 2020, the Organ Committee of the Hunan Provincial Higher People's Court of the Communist Party of China posthumously awarded Xu Kang the title of "Outstanding Communist Party Member" by the Hunan Provincial High People's Court. The circular pointed out that Xu Kang threw his enthusiasm and all his wisdom into the judicial cause, interpreted with his limited life the loyalty and responsibility of a communist party member and the people's judge, and was an excellent example of the political and legal cadres and policemen practicing the core socialist values in the new era.
