Zhang Wuchang seniority background
Zhang Wuchang served as Arnold C. The first lecturer at the Harberg Lecture was a man of erudition. He received his Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1967, where he taught at the University of Chicago and later became Professor of Economics at the University of Washington and Professor of Economics at the University of Hong Kong. In 1997, he became President of the Western Economic Association (USA).
In addition to his research on contracts and new institutional economics, Zhang was a well-known photographer, calligrapher, and essayist, and an art lover, collecting paintings, calligraphy, ancient jade, bricks, and antiques.
