Shandong has a long cultural history and is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization, and the Confucian doctrine represented by Confucius has a wide influence in the world. In order to promote the leap from a province with large cultural resources to a strong province with cultural strength, vigorously promote the development of cultural undertakings, and raise the cultural strong province to a new level with a high degree of cultural consciousness and cultural self-confidence. The pioneer figure painters of the Qilu School of Painting inherited the tradition of literati painting, pursued interest, paid attention to the charm, attached importance to the cultivation of poetry, books, paintings and printing, put books into painting, poetry and painting as one, they adhered to the spirit of qilu to expand and forge ahead, inherited the traditional figure painting techniques, integrated Chinese and Western, and promoted the development of qilu school of figure painting. On the occasion of the second China Cultural Expo, sponsored by the China Cultural Industry Association and the China Tourism Association, the qilu painting circle contemporary figure painting masters were specially launched, showing the depth and thickness of our Qilu land figure painting talent team, and creating a business card for qilu painting figure painting. Promote the art exchange and cultural integration between Qilu culture and all parts of the country, promote the sustained prosperity and development of the art industry, and create a new situation in the development of the art industry that keeps pace with the times.

Painter Profile
Xu Kang, born in Jinan in 1961, his ancestral home is Shouguang, Shandong, graduated from East China Normal University, a famous fan painting artist, a member of the China Artists Association, a director of the Shandong Artists Association, a professional painter of The Shandong Art Museum, and the director of the Art Creation Exchange Center. He has held solo exhibitions and group exhibitions in Jinan, Beijing, Dalian, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Canada, the United States, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Australia, Belgium, Russia and other countries and regions, and has participated in many art exhibitions at home and abroad and won awards. The work "Lu Eqing" was published in Qilu Evening News, Qilu Yidian, China Painting and Calligraphy Daily, and National Public Welfare Calligraphy and Painting Network. In 2021, he organized planning and participated in the collective creation of a large-scale Shandong Party history long volume "Red Traces and Memories".
