Chinese acrobatics and modern dance jointly interpret the myth of nuwa patching up the creation of heaven, what kind of spark collision will be presented when intangible cultural heritage meets drama?
On March 20th and 21st, the Sino-British-Dutch cooperation physical stunt story theater "Breaking New Ground Fighting Water" will premiere in Shanghai and debut at the 1862 Fashion Art Center. In addition to presenting traditional skills such as lion dance, stilt walking, drumming, shaking bamboo, stacking luohan and other traditional skills in the works, the Beijing Acrobatic Troupe also holds hands with the avant-garde power of Anglo-Dutch modern dance to show the power of innocence, and read Chinese myths with the world, and the whole stage will continue to refresh the imagination of the audience. This is also one of the five parent-child dramas brought by Small Big Vision in the first half of the year.
With an international aesthetic and perspective, the famous domestic parent-child theater brand - "Small Not Point Big Vision" will also bring another new original drama "Bossa and fish people and birds" this year. The play will premiere from March 25 to April 4 at the Little Big Horizon Parent-Child Micro Theater. In the story, a girl who wants to fly over the mountains and seas meets a bird who wants to find a mermaid, a novel stage installation, and a sci-fi element full of avant-garde temperament, leading the audience to embark on a dream journey through time and space.
The two main creative artists from Inner Mongolia use steampunk elements to join the national instruments to present the puppet theater, and 30 instruments are created in the miniature music dream factory. The surprise easter eggs of the theater come from refreshing ethnic elements - Buryat Mongolian costumes, Evenk harmonica, Kazakh Dongbura and other ethnic instruments, bringing an immersive new national tide theater experience.
Another blockbuster play, "Man and Cat", is a Sino-British cooperation one-man drama story theater, which is also a repertoire of the 2021 Shanghai Jing'an Modern Drama Valley Exhibition, which is included in the "New Text Incubation Plan" of Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center. The main creative team said that drama is one of the best general education, the whole story is actually about the "how do we live" deep topic, through warm, heart-wrenching, beautiful way to interpret, for busy contemporary families, will be a good medicine for the soul, "whether it is adults or children, will harvest the power of love and hope." ”
In the first half of this year, the children's dance drama "Little Jury" was also unveiled, which was performed at the 1862 Fashion Arts Center on June 5 and 6. The play is co-created, choreographed and judged by children and dance artists, and the interactive mode of multi-dimensional time and space on the spot is quite unforgettable.
In addition, as a classic repertoire of Xiao Bu Dian, China and the UK have cooperated to edit the newly edited Gold Award puppet drama "Goose Goose Goose", which has won numerous awards, and will return to the Xiao Bu Dian Big Vision Parent-Child Micro Theater from May 27 to 30. The return of this treasure drama that has been performed around the world for 18 years allows the audience to see the world's top artistic children's dramas without going abroad.
