Jinhua, China, November 5 (Dong Yixin, Hu Zhe'nan, Tong Linjie) Recently, 38-year-old Zhou Mou returned from Qianxi County, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, to Da Nang Kou Village, Zhiying Town, Yongkang City, Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, to reunite with his parents, relatives and friends who had been separated for 33 years. "We have never, and we will not give up looking for our son, and we hope that more people can find their families through this 'reunion' action." Zhou's mother, Wang Mou, said.
This is another successful reunion of separated families since the launch of the "Reunion Action" of the Ministry of Public Security, and the Yongkang police have successfully helped the separated families to reunite in combination with the "Practical Affairs for the People" activity.
A 5-year-old child was abducted and sold
Zhou was born in 1984 and was only 5 years old when he disappeared. Wang recalled that on October 18, 1988, the couple was busy at their own noodle restaurant in Laifeng County, Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hubei Province. It was getting late, but Wang mou did not see his son come home for a long time, and since then there has been no news of him this week.
After looking around but finding nothing, Wang and her husband went to the police station in the jurisdiction for help. The police immediately organized the police force to carry out a search, but due to the limited conditions at that time, the search was unsuccessful.
But over the years, the local police and Mr. and Mrs. Wang have never given up looking for their son. "No matter when, no matter how far away, as long as there is a little information about our son, our husband and wife will immediately go to find it." Wang said that since then, they have begun a long road of 33 years of searching for children.
Over the years, their footsteps in search of relatives have spread all over Hubei, Zhejiang, Beijing and other places, and Wang has also participated in family search programs, but each time it has ended in disappointment. The couple did not dare to move away from the rental place in Laifeng County, fearing that their son would not be able to find the noodle shop at home.
In 2008, Wang and her husband decided to return to Yongkang first, but they never gave up the search for their son in Laifeng County, and there was always a search notice on the wall next to the noodle shop in Laifeng County, which was 13 years.
"Since my brother disappeared, our family has not had a good Spring Festival." Zhou Shuangshuang (pseudonym), an older sister than Zhou, who is 2 years older than Zhou, said that every year on the first day of the Chinese New Year, when the whole family sits together to eat chicken noodles, his parents will always cook an extra bowl, saying that it is for his brother, which has become their habit for 33 years.
The police helped 33 years to find the final dream
"Hello, just now a person who claimed to be a hebei public security officer called me and said that my brother who disappeared earlier years had been found, and I came to ask if the news was true or false." A few days ago, Zhou Shuangshuang came to the Zhiying Police Station of the Yongkang City Public Security Bureau and told Yang Zhiyong, a police officer on duty. Therefore, Yang Zhiyong quickly helped him contact the Hebei Provincial Public Security Bureau to verify the number of the owner, confirmed that he was a police officer of the criminal investigation brigade of the Qianxi County Public Security Bureau in Tangshan City, Hebei Province, and through database DNA comparison, the police of the two places determined that Jia Mou was Zhou Mou, who disappeared 33 years ago.
"When I was playing near the noodle shop, two men showed up and gave me a candy, asked me to play with them, and then they took me to the car." Zhou recalled: "At that time, I only remember riding in the car for a long time. ”
In the past 33 years, Zhou has experienced the death of his adoptive father, entered an orphanage, and then been adopted, and has successively moved to 3 families, and the last family adoptive parents named him Jia. Although his adoptive parents treated him well, Zhou's desire to find his biological parents never stopped. After the death of his adoptive parents, Zhou mou formed his own small family. Today, Zhou, who works in a mine, lives in Qianxi County with his wife, mother-in-law and two sons.
Recently, Zhou Mou, who has been away from his hometown for 33 years, finally returned to Yongkang, reunited with his family, and also ate the bowl of chicken noodles.
"When I was a kid, I loved to eat chicken noodles, just like I remember." Zhou said that he always had the appearance of his biological parents in his mind, so he did not give up looking for his biological parents in Hebei. "After a while, I will take my wife and children back to Yongkang for a reunion, and I want to spend more time with my parents in the future to make up for the missed 33 years."
Zhou's biological parents said that they would be relieved to see their son living well, and they would fully respect the child's wishes and let him choose the life he wanted.
Yongkang police said that they will continue to carry out work related to "Reunion Operation". At the same time, the police also called on all sectors of society to support and participate in the "reunion" operation and provide clues to the public security organs about missing abducted children in a timely manner.
