On the morning of January 17, the award ceremony of the 2020 Silk Road Countries Youth International Photography Competition Chongqing Division (Rongchang Middle School Station) and the First Youth Photography Competition of Rongchang Middle School was held in the Academic Lecture Hall of Rongchang Middle School, and the photographic work "Firebird" of Liu Xinran, a student of the first (2nd) class of junior high school, won the gold award.

The 2020 Silk Road National Youth International Photography Competition Chongqing Division (Rongchang Middle School Station) and the first Youth Photography Competition of Rongchang Middle School were jointly organized by the Chongqing Organizing Committee of the Silk Road National Youth International Photography Competition and Rongchang Middle School.

Fan Bei, deputy dean of the Meishi Film School of Chongqing University, said in her opening speech that the Silk Road Countries Youth International Photography Competition is an attempt to implement the State Council's "Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and Improving School Aesthetic Education", promote the popularization of photography culture, and carry out youth photography education and improve aesthetic education in the form of competitions. As an important city in the western region, Chongqing is known as "the city of mountains and rivers, a beautiful place". The city with a strong sense of three-dimensionality is more suitable for teenagers to record with the lens. The landscape and water have cast the soul of Chongqing city and also nurtured generations of Bayu people. The unique regional scenery is more suitable for young people to pursue history in photography, help the contemporary, and inherit the future.

Since the launch of the 2020 Silk Road National Youth International Photography Competition Chongqing Division (Rongchang Middle School Station) and the first Youth Photography Competition of Rongchang Middle School, it has carried out a number of photography art lectures and photography practice collection activities in Rongchang Middle School, which have been warmly welcomed and loved by teachers and students.

Hu Anze, secretary of the party committee and principal of Rongchang Middle School, said that more than 400 students participated in the photography lecture training, 30 students participated in the wind collection activities, and a total of 645 entries were entered.

After the strict evaluation of the experts and judges of the Chongqing Division Organizing Committee, the 2020 Silk Road Countries Youth International Photography Competition Chongqing Division (Rongchang Middle School Station) and the first Youth Photography Competition of Rongchang Middle School selected a total of 1 gold award, 2 silver awards, 3 bronze awards and 10 excellence awards.

According to Li Qiang, Secretary General of the Chongqing Division of the Silk Road National Youth International Photography Competition, the 2019 Silk Road National Youth International Photography Competition settled in Chongqing, and the Chongqing area was hosted by beijing International Photography Week, the International Alliance of Silk Road National Photography Organizations, the China Art Photography Society, the China Millennium Monument World Art Museum, the Meishi Film Academy of Chongqing University, and the Chongqing Meidian Art Troupe, attracting the participation and strong support of many primary schools, junior high schools, high schools and universities. The 2020 competition received a total of 6968 photographic works and 372 short video works. The competition will mobilize and organize young people from all over Chongqing to pick up the camera, re-observe, recognize and record the stories around them through the lens, understand animals, plants, cities, villages, communities, relatives and even themselves in more detail through the lens, remember the flow of time through the lens, explore the unknown world and look forward to the future through the lens.
