Originating in Zhenxiong County, Yunnan Province, the Chishui River flows through 16 counties (cities and districts) in Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan Provinces, and flows into the Yangtze River in Hejiang County, Sichuan Province, and is an important water supply river of the Yangtze River and a rare and endemic fish national nature reserve, with unique natural, ecological and historical and cultural endowments.
"Protecting the source of our Chishui River and the upper reaches of the Chishui River is our duty in Zhaotong, Yunnan." Li Ruyi said that in order to further promote the ecological protection of the Chishui River Basin and promote coordinated development, Zhaotong City has made the ecology and development of the Chishui River Basin not wrong through a comprehensive ban on fishing in the whole basin, the treatment of two pollution, the development of ecological green industries, and the construction of beautiful villages.
Ecological priority, coordinated development, "synergy" is crucial. As the middle and upper reaches of the Chishui River Basin, Bijie City regards infrastructure construction as a technical key support for improving the level of ecological environmental protection, and through infrastructure construction and pollution control, it has built 22 sewage treatment plants, 2 garbage power plants, 5 landfills, 84 township garbage stations, and the garbage removal coverage rate in the Chishui River Basin has reached 97%, effectively protecting the ecological environment of the Chishui River.
"We will unswervingly take the road of ecological priority and green development, ecological protection in the middle and upper reaches, and a river of clean water to the downstream." Yang Jin said.
The Chishui River, which has a good ecological environment, has nurtured Moutai wine, Langjiu, Xijiu and other fine wines, and has the reputation of "Fine Wine River". Zhong Fangda said that the production of liquor relies heavily on the local environment, and water quality, soil, air, etc. have a crucial impact on the quality of liquor. For the liquor companies along the coast, the Chishui River is a mother river.
As a liquor production enterprise on the Chishui River, Xijiu Company changed the traditional coal-fired boiler to natural gas, purified the water by repairing the sewage treatment plant, and invested a lot of money in the treatment of the Chishui River to protect the Chishui River from pollution while carrying out its own industrial development.
The biodiversity of the Chishui River Basin has created good wines such as Moutai wine and Xijiu. Among them, the microbial community has strong support for the industrial development of the river basin area, and it will also lead to frequent disasters due to the fragility of the regional ecology. Therefore, while protecting the ecology of the Chishui River, it is also necessary to carry out comprehensive management of the diversity of organisms in the whole basin.
Ecological environmental protection and economic development complement each other, and the construction of ecological civilization in the Chishui River Basin is inseparable from the attention and protection of all localities, all walks of life and social people, and at the same time, it is also necessary to do a good job in the coordinated development of cultural tourism in the whole basin.
