The whole village
Biyoukeng Village is located at the source of the Nanxi River, at the junction of Yantan Town in Yongjia County and Shangzhang Township in Xianju County. It turns out that the village is very steep terrain, the village mouth is a waterfall with a drop of more than 100 meters, it is said that it is impossible to catch the cattle from the path along the cliff, so they have to carry the calves to raise them and engage in farming, so the village is named "Back Cattle Pit". Later generations took the back cow pit harmonic sound, written as a biyou pit, also known as biliu source, both poetic and characteristic. Most of the villagers are surnamed Chen, and their Surname Chen is originally part of the survivors who fled to Furong Ancient Village Chen Yuzhi after the failure of the anti-Yuan resistance, and it has a history of more than 700 years. The descendants of the Chen surname in the two villages still have relatives.

Now it has been changed to a cement bridge, which has less flavor. Cross the bridge along the mountain road on the left and the waterfall is unobstructed. Generally, to admire the waterfall, is to look up, and the best view here is to look down - the village above the waterfall is worthy of its name. Watching the waterfall cascade down, it is a bit difficult to see the end, and the fear of heights is even more afraid to stick out of the railing. In the mountains, morning fog is common. When the clouds are thick, the waterfall is even more ethereal, taking you into another realm.

In front of the village is a field of farmland surrounded by green mountains. There is a rare and famous tree protected by the state in the village- Hongdoubin, and the four of them can't hug each other together, with lush branches and unlimited vitality. According to the old people in the village, Biyoukeng was originally an important transportation hub from Yongjia County to Xianju County, with continuous merchants and merchants, and it is also a prosperous village that is famous far and wide.
