According to the Sichuan Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission," a few days ago, with the approval of the Sichuan Provincial CPC Committee, the Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission Supervision Commission conducted a case review and investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Yi Jun, former secretary of the party committee and chairman of the board of directors of Guobao Life Insurance Co., Ltd.

After investigation, Yi Jun lost his ideals and convictions, had a weak sense of discipline and law, violated the regulations on reporting personal matters, and did not truthfully report on his personal real estate; accepted gifts from management service recipients for a long time in violation of the law; and took advantage of his position to seek benefits for others and accepted property on a large scale.

Yi Jun seriously violated the party's organizational discipline and honest discipline, constituted a violation of the law and was suspected of accepting bribes, and did not restrain or accept after the Eighteenth National Congress of the Party, which was serious in nature and had a bad impact, and should be dealt with severely. In accordance with the "Regulations on Disciplinary Punishment of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and other relevant provisions, after being studied by the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission and reported to the provincial party committee for approval, it was decided to give Yi Jun the punishment of expulsion from the party; the provincial supervision commission should give him the punishment of dismissal from public office; the confiscation of his gains from violations of discipline and law; and the transfer of his suspected crimes to the procuratorial organs for examination and prosecution according to law, and the property involved would be transferred with the case.

Yi Jun, male, Han ethnicity, born in October 1962, Mianzhu, Sichuan, on-the-job graduate degree. He began his career in September 1981 and joined the Communist Party of China in June 1986.

From September 1981 to July 1986, he worked in Chengdu Seamless Steel Pipe Factory, Sichuan Province;

From July 1986 to November 1993, he worked in the Sichuan Provincial Construction Commission;

From November 1993 to September 1994, he worked in the General Office of the Sichuan Provincial Government;
