Yan'an witnessed the final meeting and victory of the Red Army's 25,000-mile long march; here, the "Yellow River Chorus", "Exile Trilogy", "White Haired Girl" and other strong voices of the times were born; more than 40,000 patriotic young people from all over the country sought truth and learned new knowledge in this hot land.
Born in 1965, the "Long March Suite" is a red classic in the history of Chinese music, a real "revolutionary music epic and folk music picture". Since last year, under the leadership of Dean Liao Changyong, Shangyin teachers and students combined the characteristics of the new era to rearrange this classic, created a new era version of the "Long March Suite", and officially launched a national tour in May this year, entering the Yangtze River Delta, retaking the Long March Road, and creating a large-scale music party history class for the whole country.

The Yan'an performance was hosted by the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, Shanghai Conservatory of Music, yan'an university, and hosted by Lu Xun Art College of Yan'an University and Yan'an Cultural Tourism Industry Investment Co., Ltd. of Shaanxi Tourism Group. Teachers and students of Yan'an University participated in the lead singing and recitation, and the visual presentation of the scene design also has the characteristic elements of northern Shaanxi culture, and the seventh song "To Wuqi Town" uses the original Loess Plateau cave elements of the theater for a more immersive experience.

They participated in the creation of the Lu Xun Art Academy here, and several heads of the Lu Yi Music Department, Ren Lüji, Xian Xinghai, Xiang Yu, and most of the main teachers, such as Tang Rongmei, Du Yajia, Li Huanzhi, Zhang Zhenyi, Li Yuanqing, He Luting, He Shide, Meng Bo, etc. are all Shangyin people.
