As we all know, AIDS, which is still an incurable disease, was first discovered in Africa and later brought into the United States by immigrants. Around the 18th and 19th centuries, HIV was found to be present in primates in central African rainforests, specifically the "protagonist" of this article, the green monkey.
According to the sampling analysis of scientists: 70% of the 200 green monkeys have AIDS-like pathogens! However, due to the fact that the green monkey has a sound immune system and strong immunity, it can carry the virus and be safe and sound. It spread to humans because local Africans have a habit of eating monkey meat, and the infection is eventually contagious when the green monkey is bitten or exposed to the blood of the monkey when it is caught/killed.
So, what does this green monkey look like that is so strong that even HIV cannot defeat it? The chief village woman of the Rat Emperor will take you to Barbados, thousands of miles away, today to see it.
This is our second visit to this small island nation in the Caribbean, the first time we have played the urban part, and this time the most important thing to do is to go in search of the legendary green monkey.
In Barbados, there is a 4-acre wildlife sanctuary located near Mount Farley that was co-founded by Canadian primate Jean Baulu and his wife in 1985, and they came to Barbados in 1982 to study and protect the green monkeys that grow here, and eventually discovered the place.
The green monkey originally lived in West Africa and is found in many countries from Senegal to the White Volta River in Ghana. In the 17th century, it was widely introduced to the Caribbean islands because of the slave trade, including St. Kitts, Nevis and Barbados.

Green monkeys are highly social animals that prefer to live in groups, but the population varies greatly, with small groups of 7 and large families of up to 80 monkeys. Adult female monkeys will stay in the family group, and adult males will leave the original family, in order to avoid inbreeding, which is quite scientific.
The infant mortality rate of green monkeys is high, with about 57% of newborns dying prematurely.
Green monkeys are very smart, usually group members often raise eyebrows, squint, pout and other ways to communicate emotions, shockingly, in addition to using body language to communicate, they can even speak!
The Nakis Primate Research Center in the north of Atlanta, Georgia, usa, once conducted a study on green monkeys, and the results showed that some green monkeys not only speak, but also have "accents"! Female pups and their kind can express meaning with different voices and frequencies, from "Mommy, sister is pushing me!" The squeamish accusation, to "A strange big monkey beat me!" "The mournful cries are all right. In the wild, they also make different screams for different dangers, saying "there are leopards nearby" and "there are humans nearby"!
