The great changes in the appearance of his hometown have brought nostalgia to Yang Junling, who often misses the people and events of the past, and then thinks of various legends related to his ancestors, and his relatives and neighbors feel the same way.
Whether the name "Hero" is related to the Yang surname is unknown, but for the Yang family living here, there is a kind of historical coincidence, because in their view, the ancestor Sui Emperor was an authentic hero.
"When we were young, we often heard from the older generation that our ancestor was Yang Guang, the Emperor of the Sui Dynasty." In 2004, a set of "Yang Family Genealogies" revised during the Republic of China was discovered in Yangjiadai Village, Houxiang Town, Danyang, according to which a descendant of Yang Guang, the Sui Dynasty Emperor, settled in Danyang.
According to the "Genealogy of the Yang Clan", Yang Guang had four sons, and the eldest son, Yang Zhaosheng, had three sons: Yang Yan, Yang Tong, and Yang You. During the Ming Dynasty, Yang Hanyi, a descendant of Yang Tong, served as a scholar in Jiangsu and Zhejiang successively because of his grandfather and father, first living in Jurong near Nanjing, then living in Suzhou, and finally settling in Yangjiadai, the town of Houxiang in present-day Danyang.

The ancestor recorded in this genealogy is not Yang Boqiao, but Yang Zhen, a Han Dynasty celebrity more than 2,000 years ago, who calculated according to the genealogy that Yang Zhen was the 25th generation grandson of Yang Boqiao.
