Schubert's Serenade

Schubert, who had only walked the world for thirty-one years, did not even think that the musical sketches he had improvised at a gathering of friends had become a classic of the world serenade and had been sung all over the world.

Schubert's Serenade was accidental.

One day, a friend of Schubert's, celebrating the birthday of a beautiful young girl, created a short poem for the girl. He also asked Schubert to create one and asked Schubert to compose a piece of music for the poem.

Schubert knew nothing about the pretty girl, so he casually wrote a few lines of simple notes to his friend, and then said apologetically: "I'm sorry, I don't have time to write something more serious at the moment." ”

Schubert's friend took the piece home and tried it on the piano a few times, and it felt very good and I liked it very much. So he rearranged it, asking Schubert and many friends to play it for music lovers at another friend's house.

At the appointed time, all the people arrived, but Schubert did not come. The hostess was on the verge of madness, and she immediately sent one of Schubert's best friends to the small hotel where Schubert often drank. Finally, Schubert was found in the tavern. Schubert was drinking when he was dragged into the living room by a friend. Schubert apologetically said to everyone, "I completely forgot." Then he sat down and played the randomly written piece. After playing, Schubert couldn't help but tearfully say, "I didn't know it was so beautiful." "This piece is the famous Serenade.

Serenade is a musical genre that is a song used to express affection to a loved one. It originated in European medieval chivalric literature and spread to Spain, Italy and other European countries. Initially, serenades are sung by young men at night at the window of their lovers, pouring out their love. The melody is beautiful, euphemistic, and lingering, and is often accompanied by guitar or mandolin.

Many musicians around the world have serenades, such as Brahms, Mozart, Chopin, Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Debussy and other masters of serenades are classics.

After listening to it, I felt that Mozart's Serenade began as a rapid little allegro, and then a soothing and gentle lyrical slow board; Chopin's Serenade was more lyrical, each note seemed to contain a strong element of love, and the sweet taste was presented with repeated legato, and then more lyrical, as if the heart was going to be pulled out to the lover; Bach's Serenade was a note of a note bouncing outward, followed by a sentence of gentle emotion. Simple and bright, full of romantic colors, and finally a rapid little allegro, pouring out all the inner emotions at once; Tchaikovsky's "Serenade" is completely a strong Russian flavor, exciting, bright, is a sense of dancing picture; Brahms's "Serenade" is a unique telling slow plate, just like the feeling of his deep love for Clara. Not ostentatious, silent, just silently in love with Clara. Every note is love, every note is love, every note is a painstaking effort, let people listen to a poignant and sweet beauty; Haydn's "Serenade" is a string quartet, unique style, more like a wonderful way to express love, around the girl, dancing and courting, with a romantic mood to tell the truth.

The "Serenade" of these masters is a classic of the world, and they are all spiritual masterpieces dedicated to mankind, which makes people listen to the chewing and aftertaste, and makes people listen to the imagination. Compared with Snorenades of Schubert, these masters have their own tastes and flavors, just like red wine, wine, champagne, and brandy.

Schubert's Serenade is one of the last solo art song classics of his short life and one of Schubert's most famous works. The lyrics are poems by the German poet Lylestab.

My singing voice spread late into the night

Fly gently towards you

In this secluded grove

Lover I am waiting for you

The moonlight shines on the earth

The treetops are whispering

No one came to bother us

Don't worry, dear

The song will also move you

Come on honey

Kiss you kiss you my song

Bring happiness and love

You can hear the nightingale singing

He's confiding in you

He's going to use that sweet singing voice

Tell me about my love

He can understand my expectations of love's bitterness

The bitterness of love

With that silver bell-like voice

Touch the tender heart

Come on honey. ”

The lyrics are beautiful and emotionally sincere, and the sense of picture is very strong. It makes people listen to the mood of excitement, there is a feeling of pleasure, longing, and expectation.

Schubert's Serenade, guided and accented by the piano, presents the affectionate confession of a young man to his beloved girl. As the feelings gradually sublimate, the tune pushes to a climax for the first time. The first paragraph ends in a mood of pleading, anticipation.

After the lyrical and quiet interlude, the music turns to the major of the same name, "Dear please listen to me, quickly throw yourself into my arms", the emotions are more excited, forming the climax of the whole song. Finally, the afterlude is derived from the second paragraph, as if the song of love echoes in the melody of serenade. The piano interlude that appears between the phrases is an echo of the song, meaning the reverberation that the youth expects to hear.

After Schubert's Serenade was circulated around the world, various instrumentalists played the piece with different instruments, they played it with violin, clarinet, trumpet, piano, saxophone, whistle, erhu and other instruments, reproducing the charm of "Serenade". At the same time, the world's three famous tenor Pavarotti and China's Liao Changyong, mezzo-soprano singer Guan Mucun also sang Schubert's "Serenade" with true feelings.

On November 19, 1828, at the age of thirty-one, Schubert fell ill with typhoid fever and left the world because he had no money to treat him. His friends and relatives buried him near Beethoven's tomb. Engraved on his tombstone the following words: "Death has buried here the rich treasure, and the more beautiful hope." ”

On the white marble tombstone, there is also a carving of the muse wearing a laurel crown on Schubert's head, and the little angel presents him with a blue flower.

The poet Eliot said that I don't want my life to go as long as it goes, but I want my poetry to go farther than my life. A person's life is not in the length of time, the key is what he has left for the world.

Although Schubert has only walked in the world for thirty-one years, his music has gone farther than his life, and it will always go on.
