Jiaxiang County, July 3-4, 1907
Jiaxiang County is located in the western part of Jining City, Shandong Province, belonging to the alluvial plain of the Yellow River.
Jiaxiang County was first named after the Spring and Autumn Period when the Duke of Lu'ai was born, due to a historical allusion of "Western Hunting and Obtaining Lin".
Lu Aigong led a group of ministers to Juye (County) hunting, according to legend, Juye is the breeding habitat of the Kirin, where it was found and shot at a divine beast, the divine beast ran all the way west to the west of Wolong Mountain, and was finally captured, asked for identification, said that it was a Qilin, originally wanted to take it back to heal the wounds, did not want the Qilin not to eat or drink, and soon died, Lu Aigong ordered people to be buried in the qilin town of juye County, today's Qilin town also has the Qilin Tomb, this is the story of "Xi hunted and captured Lin", because the Qilin is a sacred beast, with the meaning of Xiangrui, so it was named Jiaxiang.
In the fourth year of Ming Hongwu, Jiaxiang County belonged to Jining Province, shandong Province, and Hongwu belonged to Yanzhou Prefecture for eighteen years.
At the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Jining Prefecture, the capital of Yanzhou in Shandong Province, and in the thirteenth year of Yongzheng belonged to Jining Prefecture, the capital of Yanzhou. Forty-one years qianlong belonged to Jining Prefecture.
