Affected by the tropical low pressure in the South China Sea, heavy rainfall occurred in the eastern, central and western parts of Hainan Island. Monitoring shows that from 20:00 on the 8th to 06:00 on the 10th, a total of 99 townships on the island received more than 100 mm of rainfall, of which 30 townships in Changjiang, Baisha, Qiongzhong, Wanning, Qionghai, Dongfang, Tunchang and Wuzhishan had more than 200 mm of rainfall, and qicha town in Changjiang County had the largest rainfall, reaching 402.1 mm.

According to the news of the South China Sea Network, affected by the hot pressure, the passenger roll-on ships in the Qiongzhou Strait were suspended from 22:00 on the 9th, and at the same time, affected by the closure of the Qiongzhou Strait, the passenger trains entering and leaving the island were suspended from 21:00 on the 9th. The hainan ring island high-speed rail train has not been affected for the time being, and the Hainan railway department will adjust the operation plan according to the weather conditions.
According to the monitoring of the Central Meteorological Observatory, the center of the tropical low pressure in the South China Sea at 08:00 on the 10th is about 60 kilometers east-southeast of Wenchang City, Hainan Province, and the maximum wind near the center is 7 (15 m/ s), and the minimum pressure at the center is 998 hundred. The tropical depression is expected to move north-west at a speed of about 10 kilometers per hour, with little change in intensity, and will make landfall this afternoon along the northeastern coast of Hainan Island.
Under the influence of tropical depression, in the next three days, Hainan will still have a strong wind and rain weather process. The Hainan Meteorological Observatory expects that there will be heavy rain to heavy rain and local heavy rain in the western part of Hainan Island, and there will be heavy to heavy rain and local heavy rain in the rest of the area. Tomorrow, there will be heavy to heavy rain and localized heavy rain in the northern region, and moderate to heavy rain and localized heavy rain in the central, western and eastern regions. The day after tomorrow, there was moderate to heavy rain in the northern region and light to moderate rain in the rest of the region.
Haikou, Lingao, Chengmai, Ding'an, Tunchang, Danzhou, Baisha, Changjiang, Dongfang and Ledong cities and counties can reach 250-350 mm of process rainfall, and locally up to 450 mm; Wenchang, Qionghai, Wanning, Lingshui, Qiongzhong, Wuzhishan, Baoting and Sanya and other cities and counties also have 120-250 mm of process rainfall.
In addition, in the next three days, the coastal land around Hainan Island will be accompanied by 6-8 winds, and the rest of the land winds will be 5-6. At the same time, the qiongzhou Strait, the eastern and southern sea surfaces of Hainan Island have winds of 6-7 and gusts of 9; the sea surface of Beibu Gulf, the western sea surface of Hainan Island, the western sea surface of Hainan Island, the Xisha and Zhongsha Islands, the sea surface winds are 6-7 and 8 gusts; and the sea surface near the Nansha Islands has winds of 5-6 and 7 gusts.
Meteorological experts remind that the tropical low pressure in the South China Sea will land in the northeast coastal area of Hainan Island during the day on the 10th, and the strong wind and rain in Hainan Province will continue until the 12th. In addition, the tropical low pressure in the South China Sea is slow to move and the path is complicated, so please ask the relevant departments to do a good job in defense.
