1. Introduction of Yingyang Town

Yingyang Town was named after yingyang county set up here during the Qin and Han dynasties. It is located in the northeast of Xiangcheng County, straddling both banks of the Yinghe River. It is bordered by Yulin Township of Jian'an District to the east, Kuzhuang Town and Shuangmiao Township to the south, Yingqiao Hui Nationality Town and Fenchen Township to the west, and Fanpo Town of Yuzhou City and Yu'an District to the north. It has jurisdiction over 27 village (resident) committees, 76 natural villages, 215 villager groups, with a total population of 61,000 and 57,200 mu of arable land. The Yinghe River flows through the jurisdiction of 16 village committees and winds for 28 kilometers with a basin area of 36 square kilometers. The Xuchang Yinru Canal passes through the eastern part of the town, and there are also drainage channels of the Grain Transport River and the Xiaoni River.

Yingyang Town has a rich history, during the Spring and Autumn Period, Zhengguo Yingyi, Qin set up Yingyang County, under the Yingchuan County, Yingyang County experienced more than 500 years of history of Qin, the Two Han Dynasties and the Three Kingdoms of Wei.
