Mephisto, formerly known as Calistalius, also known as the "Lord of Death", is the think tank curator of the Holy Blood Angel WarBand and one of the most powerful think tank curators in the Empire.
He was the only one of the Holy Blood Angels and their sons who had twice defeated the Black Rage, and he had regained his sanity twice. However, there are rumors that Mephisto paid a terrible price for his resurrection, and when he mastered the Black Fury, something even more terrible took its place.
Hopefully, such rumors are unfounded garbage, but Mephisto keeps his secret in his heart, and only time will reveal the truth.

As a young Angel of the Holy Blood, Calistalius served as a think tank in the 1st Company under The Raphael Company Commander during the purges of the infamous Green-Skinned Orcs in 589.m41.
He is a young man with a lot of talk and laughter, his powerful psychic talents and supernatural abilities make him different from other teammates, Calista confesses to facing the fear of subspace, struggling every day to suppress desires and temptations.
In fact, he lived in a completely different world from the average person, but his advanced cognitive abilities and destructive psychic abilities were invaluable to Company Commander Raphael.
As an Astat monk, Mephisto was a fierce warrior with a fierce personality. However, black rage does not care about the nobility of the soul or the strength of the flesh.
In the Second Doomsday War, the curse of St. Gilliès finally fell upon him. Calista joined the Blood Angel Death Company, but was only a death squad that exiled the Berserkers who were trapped in the Black Fury, taking part in a final attack on a church building, which was eventually buried by a collapsed building.
Although he was suppressed, he did not die, and the fallen think tank was trapped for many days, roaring as he fought the madness brought about by genetic defects. Finally, on the seventh night, he stood up triumphantly and rushed out of the rubble in a new, terrible capacity.
Calistalius was gone, replaced by Mephisto, one of the most powerful psychics ever created and the only Angel of the Holy Blood to conquer the Black Fury. The changes in his body were unprecedented, and his physical and mental strength was pushed to the extreme by the genetic seeds of awakening.
However, his resurrection was not overlooked at the time. As Mephisto pushed the boulder away from him, the crashing sound of the stones attracted the attention of a group of orcs still wandering through the ruins. When he came to the orcs, they thought that Mephisto seemed to be their prey easily, because he was unarmed and his armor was shattered and shed.
They soon regretted it, and under Mephisto's high-speed attack, the five orcs were beaten to pieces by Astatt in a matter of seconds, and then a dozen more orcs died quickly. Because they were so stupid, the orcs didn't realize their disadvantage at all, so they didn't retreat. The reborn Angel of the Holy Blood continued to fight the brutal orcs until Mephisto pulled out a large hole in the largest orc's chest and tore his heart open. His destroyed armor was stained with enemy blood, and Mephisto began his long journey to the Imperial line.
From that day on, Mephisto rose rapidly in the ranks of the Blood Angels and has now assumed the position of chief think tank. In the eyes of most of his comrades-in-arms, he was an awe-inspiring and revered figure who saw him as the savior of this era.
Others were less receptive because they had a hard time recognizing Mephisto's old-time shadow. Calistalius is relaxed and cheerful, but Mephisto is reticent, except when it is very much needed. On the battlefield and outside the battlefield, Calistalius sought the company of his brothers, while Mephisto thought alone in silence, his face still noble, revealing the pain of the soul. Perhaps these changes are the inevitable price of change.
Shortly after defeating Black Fury in the Battle of the End of the World, Mephisto's strength—mental, physical, and powerful—surpassed that of almost all of his comrades-in-arms, and he quickly rose to prominence as the chief think tank of the Angel of the Holy Blood, conferring the title of "Lord of Death." His abilities were so strong that few could surpass him. His fighting skills are comparable to those of the greatest hero ever in the history of the human empire. Some people say that since he defeated Black Fury, he has a part of the true original power flowing through him, and he is indeed a descendant of St. Gillette.
In the world of Cybele, one of the most terrible events in the long history of the Holy Blood Angels took place. A warrior named Agio is contaminated by chaos and slowly transforms into the late genetic protozoa, St. Gillis, who holds a relic known as the "Spear of Telesto" and considers himself the reincarnation of St. Gillis. Many in the ranks of the Sixth Company of the Holy Blood Angels were loyal to this so-called "Angel of Rebirth." Unbeknownst to the Blood Angels, a judge who had fallen into chaos manipulated the scene, causing a split within the Blood Angels. After several of the warriors were killed by Agio's followers, Mephisto decided that he, not Dante's commander, would deal with Agio. His reasoning was that, because he was a psychic, he could better detect the stains of chaos on Agio and his followers.
Mephisto came to the Temple of the Angels of the Blood, tried Agio, and examined Agio with his mighty wizarding eyes. He saw the seeds of chaos carefully planted by Chaos in Agio's body and denounced the "Angel of Rebirth" as fake. Mephisto then challenged Agio in a duel, but before the duel could begin, Agio's biological brother, the Angel of the Holy Blood, Raven, arrived and offered to challenge him. Rafine, one of the few Blood Angels in the 6th Company, doubted the authenticity of Agio's resurrection, maintained his faith in the Emperor and their original bodies, and denounced his brother as an impostor.
Mephisto saw the shadow of St. Gillette in Lafien, who knew that St. Gillis was destined to fight Agio. The Lord of Death asked Raven to take his place, and the two brothers began a life-and-death duel. After Raven injured Achio, the Inquisitor, who had fallen into chaos, ordered followers of the Angelic Rebirth to attack Mephisto and his men. Eventually, Raven rose in triumph and pierced Agio's heart with the Spear of Telesto, begging his brother for forgiveness before dying.
After the puppet's death, the true mastermind behind the evil Chaos conspiracy surfaces - Malfalacx, the Lord of Change, the Great Demon under the Treacherous. Malfalacx and the Inquisitor make a devil's deal in an attempt to lure the Angel of the Holy Blood astray.
After the defeat, Malfalux betrayed the Inquisitor and took possession of her body, descending into the Physical Universe. Malfalacx then attempts to subjugate the Black Fury of the Holy Blood Angel, but he is banished back to subspace by Laphine with the Spear of Telesto. By the time Rafin defeated Malfalux, Mephisto's iron will had collapsed, and he was once again plunged into a black rage. Lafin channeled the power of Thelisto's Spear to Mephisto, suppressing the Think Tank's Black Fury for the second time.
After this great tragedy, Agio's body was eventually cremated out of respect for his deception, as he did not rebel because of his own fault. The Angels of the Holy Blood who willingly followed Agio learned of the inquisitor's deception and understood the terrible reality of their deception. They were unknowingly turned into giant pawns by the God of Chaos. The fallen brothers were taken to Mephisto's battleship, the Europa, stripped of their weapons and equipment and handcuffed.
The Holy Blood Angel Commando, loyal to Mephisto, has found the genetic seed of the fallen traitor inside the Berus. Many of europa crews believed that the genetic material had been contaminated, but Mephisto did not. The genetic seed was stored in a safe place, ready to return to Bar; the person who decided the fate of the genetic seed was Commander Dante. A voice from Barr advised Dante that Rafine should be executed along with the loyal survivors of the Sixth Company. They feared that Rafin would follow the same path as his brother Agio because they had the same pedigree. When they learned that he was capable of wielding the sacred Spear of Telesto, they changed their minds. Lafin's dedication and honor to the warriors is unparalleled. Dante personally received Raven. Although there was a offer to appoint him as a company commander, Raven refused, choosing to win the position in his own right when the time was ripe. Lafin then made only one request to Mephisto---- forgive and pity his comrades in the Sixth Company, for they had unknowingly lost their way and followed his brother in rebellion. They were blinded by the faith of St. Gillis and their faith was abused. Mephisto persuaded Laffine that the rituals of cleaning and purification were quite arduous. Many of his comrades-in-arms were unable to survive the process. But Laffine told Mephisto that they would endure and that their faith would be doubly strong.
Sometime after the birth of the Great Rift Valley, Mephisto willingly underwent the original casting transformation surgery and became a former cast star warrior (referred to as the Big Guy).
