The historical "Qiu Xiang" has indeed been pointed out, but unfortunately it has nothing to do with Tang Bohu's point

Although there are Qiu Xiangqi in history, and she lived in the middle of the Ming Dynasty with Tang Bohu, she is at least twenty years older than Tang Bohu. Although Qiu Xiang was high in Jinling, it was difficult for an affair between the two of them to have an affair. However, Zhu Zhishan did not know on what occasion he saw qiuxiang fan noodles, and wrote a poem of seven masterpieces: "Huangyu shaking gold small fan diagram, Wuyun Louge female fairy residence; between the lines, I have seen the autumn incense characters, and I know that it is a Chengdu Xue school book." ”

There is a poem in the "Tang Yin Poetry Collection" called "I Love Qiu Xiang" which is a Tibetan poem:

I paint the blue river water leisurely, love the evening pavilion on the maple leaf thick.

The autumn moon melts into the Buddhist temple, and the cigarettes circle the scripture building.

The prototype of the story of "Tang Bohu Dian Qiu Xiang" first appeared in the Ming Dynasty notebook novels, among which the Ming Dynasty novelist Mr. Wang Tongluo's "Ear Talk", the narrated storyline is basically consistent with the "Tang Bohu Dian Qiu Xiang" that we know today. The gist is that Chen Yuanchao, a talented son in Suzhou, has a bohemian personality. Once, he and his friends visited Tiger Hill and met Qiu Xiang unexpectedly, and Qiu Xiang smiled brightly at Chen Gongzi. In fact, after laughing a little, Chen Gongzi couldn't resist, so he secretly visited Qiu Xiang's traces. Therefore, Chen Gongzi disguised himself and went to the home of the official eunuch to become the prince's companion reading boy. Soon, Chen Yuanchao felt that the time had come, because he found that the two sons could not do without him, so he lied that he wanted to go home and marry. The two sons said that there are so many maids in the house, you can pick them at will. Chen Gongzi said, since this is the case, it is better to be respectful than to obey the order, so I will order autumn incense. Chen Gongzi fulfilled his wish and married. This is a love story in "Ear Talk" that is loved by laughter and because of love. In the hands of the novelist Feng Menglong at the end of the Ming Dynasty, it became "Tang Xieyuan's Laughing Marriage". One of the oldest and simplest stories, from "one laugh" to "three laughs", the plot is more complicated.

The historical "Qiu Xiang" has indeed been pointed out, but unfortunately it has nothing to do with Tang Bohu's point

Originally, it was "Chen Gongzi dotting autumn incense", how could it become "Tang Bohu dotting autumn incense"?

Here, there are social reasons, factors of the times, and personal reasons of Tang Bohu himself. We know that Tang Bohu lived in the era when the economy of the Ming Dynasty was very developed, and Suzhou was the central city of economic and cultural development at that time. Economic prosperity necessarily leads to intellectual vitality. Especially the middle and lower-class intellectuals at that time, their ideas were very active. They urgently need to emancipate their minds and realize their personal ideals. Under such circumstances, middle- and lower-class intellectuals urgently need to find a spokesperson for their spirit, ideals, emotions, and will. It is urgent to find a rebellious image of a life that is uninhibited, dares to take the lead in charging and challenging. This is found in Tang Bohu, because Tang Bohu himself has the characteristics of an informal personality. In various forms of literary and artistic works, the literati and inkers deliberately let Tang Bohu be informal, and let him let loose the skeleton. Deliberately let Tang Bohu break into Zhumen mansion and let him gag with the dignitaries. Deliberately let Tang marry his beloved woman, let him fight for his ideal freedom. That's why the heavy responsibility of dian qiu xiang should be placed on Tang Bohu.

So, in history, is there such a person as Qiu Xiang?

She is a famous prostitute in the Brothel of Jinling, proficient in piano, chess, books, and paintings, and has indeed been pointed out in history. Is it Tang Bohu's point? Definitely not. The historical "Qiu Xiang" has indeed been pointed out, but unfortunately it has nothing to do with Tang Bohu's point

Qiu Xiang was known as "a talented woman" at that time, and her Danqing paintings were more famous. According to the Ming Dynasty's "History of Painting", "Qiu Xiang learned to paint in Shi Tingzhi, Wang Yuan's father, and the pen was the clearest. ”

In the "Jinling Trivia", it is also recorded that Qiu Xiang once learned painting from Tang Bohu's painting teacher Shen Zhou. Shen Zhou was a quite famous painter in the Ming Dynasty, who once painted a Danqing painting for Qiu Xiang and wrote a poem. Linjiang Xian title Lin Nu'er (i.e. Qiu Xiang) landscape painting: "The dance rhymes and songs are folded, and Dan Qing leaves a fang name." "The past has passed, you can no longer be found in the Qinglou, and you will have to look for it in the painting world in the future."
