Sarah Paulsen joins "The Girl Who Disappeared"
1905 Film Network News documentary director Liz Gabas will direct her first feature film, The Vanishing Girl, and has invited Sarah Paulsen to join. The film is based on a book of the same name by investigative journalist Robert Kolker, published in 2014, and is written by Michael Werwie.
The film tells the story of a mother who travels to Long Island to search for her missing daughter, but inadvertently finds the bodies of 4 girls deep in the forest, and behind the corpses is a bigger mystery. The rest of the film's cast has yet to be announced, but Sarah Paulsen will play the helpless and panicked mother.
This year is a bumper year for Sarah Paulsen, whose outstanding performance in "American Crime Story" swept the 74th Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress in a Miniseries/Television Movie, the 68th Emmy Awards for Best Actress in a Miniseries/Television Movie, the 23rd Screen Actors Guild Awards for Best Actress in a Television Movie/Miniseries, and the 7th American Critics' Choice Television Awards for Best Actress in a Television Movie/Limited Series.
