In the recently announced 88th Academy Awards, the film of the same name based on Michael Punk's novel "The Revenant" received 12 nominations and won three awards: Best Director, Best Actor and Best Cinematography. The simplified version of the book Chinese has been published in China a few days ago. The Revenant is based on a true legend from the era of the inland fur trade in the United States in the early 19th century. In the fall of 1823, Hugh Glass, a highly experienced and skilled fur hunter, was hired by the Rocky Mountain Fur Company on a hunting expedition deep into the interior of the Wild West. One day, while out scouting, he was attacked by a grizzly bear and was seriously wounded and nearly dead. The expedition arranged for two of his teammates to stay behind to take care of Glass, but the two men soon abandoned the dying Glass in the wilderness and took his guns and other belongings. Fortunately, thanks to a strong will to survive and rich wild survival skills, Grasse finally survived...
