Raising flowers use ferrous sulfate, the right use is the treasure, the wrong use is the poison, do not ignore

Most of the potted flowers now are in the south, and generally prefer loose and slightly acidic soil. However, if it is maintained in the north, the soil is alkaline, and it is easy to become yellow leaf yellowing disease for a long time. So to add acid to it every one or two months, we generally use ferrous sulfate.
But will ferrous sulfate be used? This is a trace element, if used in just the right amount, but it is a treasure to prevent yellow leaves. But if you use it wrong, the black leaves will fall in minutes. So how should ferrous sulfate be used correctly?
First, under what circumstances
Most of the potted flowers raised at home are actually acid-loving flowers, such as gardenia, rhododendron, camellia, turtle back bamboo, green lotus, fragrant vine, jasmine, etc., they all belong to the southern plants. In the north, the maintenance time is long, the soil alkalinity is easy to grow badly, and iron deficiency yellow leaves will appear. It is mainly manifested as green veins and yellow leaves, which is a typical iron deficiency yellow leaf, which is caused by insufficient iron in the soil. Iron can promote the absorption of chlorophyll in plants, etc., increase the photosynthesis of plants to make leaves oily green. If it is missing, yellowing will occur.
Second, the use of methods
The use of ferrous sulfate ratio should not be too concentrated, according to the ratio of 1: 1000 and above. Because it is a trace element, it should not be found in too much in the soil. When used, you can water the potted plants every one or two months. If you use too much, the concentration is too easy to burn the roots, and the leaves are all black and fall off within a day or two, which is difficult to rescue.
Third, use the method of attention
Stir well when using, and immediately pour into potted plants. The ferrous sulfate solution was originally pale green, but it would turn brown in about 10 minutes.
This is the iron element inside the oxidation into trivalent iron is rust, this plant can not absorb, after watering will not have an effect. So when using it, use it as soon as possible, or drop a few drops of vinegar in it or use citric acid to mix and use, so that ferrous sulfate can always show a light green color, this effect is the best.
Fourth, spray the blades
When spraying the leaves with ferrous sulfate solution, we must pay attention to it and try not to spray at noon. At noon, the light is relatively strong, the evaporation is particularly large, and the water on the leaves is quickly evaporated after spraying, leaving only the dotted ferrous sulfate. Use more intensively will cause the phenomenon of black spots and black leaves on the leaves.
Ferrous sulfate is an indispensable trace element of plants, but when used, it must be obtained less than more. For some potted plants that are not too acidic, such as green lotus, turtle back bamboo, etc., it can be used 1 to 2 times a year.
For plants with strong acidity such as rhododendron, jasmine, gardenia, osmanthus and so on, it should be used every one or two months.
