The German Open Badminton Tournament Li Zijia and Luo Jianyou will compete for the men's singles title

The German Open Badminton Tournament ended the semi-finals yesterday, and Malaysia's Li Zijia successfully entered the men's singles final, and he will compete with Singapore's Luo Jianyou for the men's singles title.

In the men's singles semifinals, Li Zijia resisted the onslaught of India's veteran Srikans, who narrowly won two consecutive sets 21-19, 22-20. Luo Jianyou beat India's Sen 2-0 (21-18, 21-12) in another semi-final.

In the women's singles semifinals, Singapore's Yang Jiamin eliminated No. 3 seed Li Wenshan of Canada 2-1 (21-12, 23-25, 21-12) after three fierce sets, and in another Thai derby, Ambom Lumpan defeated teammate Chavan 2-1 (16-21, 21-17, 21-18). Yang Jiamin and Ambom Lumpan will compete for the women's singles title.

Indonesia locked up the men's doubles title early. Top seeded world number one Gideon/Sukamuyo beat Thailand's Chomke/Kadren 2-0 (21-17, 21-16) to reach the final, where they will compete with team-mates Kanando/Mathurn for the title.

Japan took two final spots in the women's doubles. After a 1-hour and 25-minute battle, Chitomo Hoshi and Matsuda narrowly defeated top seeds Kitty Halakul/Prajongga of Thailand 2-1 (14-21, 23-21, 21-19). Suzu Iwanaga / Takaei Nakanishi defeated Indonesia's Ramahandy/Sugiato 2-0 (21-17, 21-16) in the other semi-finals.

In the mixed doubles semi-finals, the top two seeds of the tournament were successfully promoted. Thailand's Powara Nukoro/Taratanacha beat Indonesia's Rivals/Menthari 2-0 (22-20, 21-14) and Jordan/Octavi Andy of Indonesia beat Thailand's Chomk/Pavissampuran 2-0 (21-18, 21-19).
