On November 7, Beijing time, the semi-finals of the 2021 BWF Tour Germany Hylo Open ended, and Indonesia and Japan each locked a crown in advance. Indonesia won the men's doubles final, and Japan's two-pair pairs met in the women's doubles final. Malaysia's Li Zijia won 2-0 to reach the men's singles final, and the top two seeds of the tournament reached the mixed doubles final together.

In the men's singles semifinals, Li Zijia faced India veteran Srikans. In the women's singles semifinals, Singapore's Yang Jiamin and Canadian veteran Lee Wen Shan fought fiercely for 59 minutes to play three sets, and finally Yang Jiamin won 2-1 (21-12, 23-25, 21-12). The other semi-final was the Thailand derby, where Ambulham Lumphan and Chavan fought more intensely, fighting for 1 hour and 10 minutes before reaching the final with a narrow victory of 2–1 (16–21, 21–17, 21–18).

Indonesia secured the men's doubles title in advance. Top seeded Gideon/Sukamuyo beat Thailand's Chomke/Kadren 2-0 (21-17, 21-16) to compete for the title with Kanando/Matheron. Kanando/Mathern beat teammate Kusuma Vadana/Rambitan 2-0 (21-17, 21-13) in the other semi-final.

Two Japanese women's doubles pairs performed well, both of them winning the division final in the semi-finals. Chitomo Hoshi and Matsuda conceded two sets in a row as they narrowly defeated top seeds Kiti Harakur and Prajuanga of Thailand 2-1 (14-21, 23-21, 21-19) in 1 hour and 25 minutes. Suzu Iwanaga / Takaei Nakanishi defeated Indonesia's Ramahandy/Sugiato in straight sets 21-17, 21-16, so that the two Japanese pairs will compete for the women's doubles title.

The mixed doubles semi-final was two matches between Indonesia and Thailand, with one win each. Top seed Poisranucro/Tartanacha defeated Rival/Mentary 2-0 (22-20, 21-14) and No. 2 seed Jordan/Octavi Andy eliminated Thailand's Chomke/Pavissampuran 2-0 (21-18, 21-19). The top two seeds of the tournament will compete for the mixed doubles title.
