Freya casts spells to freeze them, while she and Hope (Daniel Rose Russell) collect black magic in an attempt to force the Ancestral Family to separate.

The search for a way to free members of the Archaeopteryx family from spiritual purgatory undoubtedly evokes memories from Hayley (Phoebe Torkin) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan). We can see Hayley's first acquaintance with the Archaeopteryx family many years ago, the day she and Klaus and their daughter were named, and Klaus's abandonment of her and Hope.
This, of course, has to do with Elia (Daniel Gillis), who does everything he can to find lost memories, at least he wants his loved ones to think that way. The spell to restore Elia's memory was effective, but it was Elia's resistance to his own memory that sealed his memory. The most heartbreaking part was the fear he felt about what he had done to Hayley, which prevented him from opening the red door of memory and depriving him of his personality.
Eventually, all that had been said and done was over, the key was found, and Elia still needed to walk through the Red Gate and face the real world, a very cruel awakening, when he realized that he had killed his beloved woman. How cruel that is.
It's worth mentioning that Daniel Gillis contributed his best acting skills to this year's series, and this segment is definitely one of them.
In addition to returning home with feelings for Hayley, Elia saves Antonia (Jimmy Murray) with the antidote generously given by Klaus, who does not want him to lose two beloved people in one day. The same affection makes it possible for him and Antonitoya to give Elia her own choice, to abandon her old self and regain her new life.
If it were Hope, that life might not be long. In addition to forcing Elia to regain her memories, Hope also goes to great lengths to obtain black magic from her family, condensing the power in her body again. Considering the reunion of the Michaelson family, this format is good. But on the other hand, this energy makes her very unstable and extremely dangerous.
In her opinion, Elia killed her mother, but a furious "welcome" was not her way of facing grief. After suppressing the vampire purification that prevailed in New Orleans, Klaus and Freya's first task was to force out the magic in Hope's body.
