A few days ago, we learned from the official that Aston Martin's first SUV DBX new model dbx straight-six will be listed in China on November 13. The car is expected to be a new powered version equipped with a 3.0t in-line six-cylinder engine + 48 volt light mix system. Referring to the current domestic price of dbx equipped with a 4.0t v8 engine, the guiding price of the car is 2.298 million yuan. From this point of view, the price of the new power model with a relatively small number of cylinders and displacement is likely to drop to less than 2 million yuan.
Currently, information about the dbx straight-six models is limited. However, from the model name, straight-six can be translated as "straight six", which also means that the car will be equipped with a new in-line six-cylinder engine. Sources say the inline six-cylinder engine may continue to be supplied by Mercedes-AMG, which is in the form of a 3.0t inline six-cylinder and is mated to a 48-volt light mix system.

For comparison, the 4.0t v8 engine currently on sale on the dbx has a maximum power of 405 kW and a peak torque of 700 Nm, and the parameter gap between the two powertrains is more obvious. However, according to Aston Martin's tuning style of the 4.0t v8 engine, it is expected that the final power parameters of the 3.0t inline six-cylinder engine + 48 volt light mixing system may be higher than that of the AMG 53 series model.

As a new power version, the dbx straight-six exterior and interior design are not expected to be significantly modified. Previously, foreign media had photographed a dbx test car, which was suspected to have a larger front grille area and a new through air inlet in the lower part of the front bumper. At the same time, the exhaust system of this test car is adjusted to a bilateral four-out layout, and the 4.0t v8 engine dbx currently on sale is a bilateral double-out exhaust layout, so the modification of the front face details and exhaust shape may be the main change of dbx straight-six.
