How can mortals be with "God"?

author:Li Xin V Jinfang replacement

The original text of the fourth chapter of the Tao Te Ching:

The road rushes, and the use of it or not profitable. Yuanxi, like the sect of all things; frustrated its sharpness, dissolving its discord, and its light, with its dust, Cham Xi, like or exist. I don't know whose son he is, like the emperor before him.

paraphrase:

The Tao body is empty and inclusive, but the effects it contains seem to be endless. It is as deep as the abyss; like the source and master of all things. The Tao, hidden but not visible, not externally visible; pure but not chaotic, not cumbersome and disorderly; bright and harmonious, not ambiguous and obscure; all things are one, not new. It dives invisible, without a trace, but it seems to be omnipresent. I don't know who produced it, but it seems to have existed before the Emperor of Heaven.
How can mortals be with "God"?

This chapter deals with five aspects of the Tao:

First, the Word is the Lord of all things that exist in an empty form;

Second, the role of the Tao is endless;

Third, the function of the Tao is to thwart all the sharpness of the world and to relieve all the strife in the world;

Fourth, the way of existence of the Tao, which blends with the light and mixes with the dust of the world, seems to be invisible, but it is real;

Fifth, the origin of the Tao is unknown, it arose before the Emperor of Heaven, and may be the origin of everything.

How can mortals be with "God"?

Based on this, we need to understand a few key issues:

First, how to understand the connotation of "rush"?

"Rush", that is, the combination of the two. Which two? One yin and one yang also. "The Tao gives birth to one, one life to two, two to three, and three to all things." The Tao is the source, one is tai chi, the second is yin and yang, and the third is what? It is a harmonious ecology after the yin and yang are combined, and then all things are born, which is shuncheng heaven.

To put it bluntly, a man and a woman, two people are lonely and yin, and the single yang is not long, but with children together, the crystallization of this yin and yang can reproduce and live endlessly for generations. Therefore, the road rushes, and it is used or not profitable.

Second, it frustrates its sharpness, resolves its discord, and its light and its dust.

Why "frustrate it"?

Because "holding on and making a profit is not as good as it is." It is not guaranteed for a long time." If you only go in and out, you will get sick, and it will be difficult to last long. Entropy reduction and humility can lead to long-term peace and stability.

How to "solve the problem"?

As mentioned above, "negative yin embraces yang, and Dao Chong is used" can be used. If you don't understand, go review the story of "where misfortune and blessing depend, where blessings and misfortunes lie". When the flying dragon is in the sky, it should tremble and walk on thin ice; when the hidden dragon is not used, it should study and exercise well, just like Sima Yi.

What is the solution to "with its light and with its dust"?

When used in dealing with people in the world, it is to "circle outside and square inside", and to flow together and not to be polluted. There is no need to be innovative, what is needed is "Taoguang to cultivate obscurity, day arch a pawn", to be a friend of time.

As a leader, you need to work towards "too high, do not know what to do", to "make a clock, not to tell the time", to establish an operating system to promote organizational development, rather than like Zhuge Liang, tired of himself.

How can mortals be with "God"?

Third, how do mortals exist with "God"?

What do we usually do when we have a problem? Some people will actively try and make mistakes and never return; some people will resign themselves to fate and stagnate; and some people may explore the root cause and trace back to the source.

And what is the "Word"? We can barely use the following: objective laws, underlying logic, the nature of things, development trends, and first principles. And when we truly grasp the Tao, we will be "with divine help."

Sun Tzu's Art of War says: Therefore, those who are good at war seek the situation and do not blame others. Lei Jun said: Standing in the wind outlet, pigs can fly into the sky. When we truly walk with the Dao, we can be like Confucius who "do what we want from the heart, without exceeding the rules", and we can "rise with the same wind in one day and soar up to ninety thousand miles".

In short, the avenue is invisible, but it is the Lord of all things. When we enter a path of life such as cultivation, enlightenment, and attainment of the Tao, we will continue to be close to the objective laws, and we will be like "Ding Yuanying" in "The Heavenly Dao" as if it were divine help, God is the Tao, the Tao is natural, such as come...
