Chen Guiting was born with strong kong martial arts and young warriors, and was already a well-known young hero in Huaiji, and later, he became a revolutionary aspirant.
Served as captain of the Self-Defense Team
Chen Guiting, a native of Qin'an Village, Yonggu Town, was born in 1902 in a peasant family, began to worship at the age of 12, practiced various martial arts, and was a person with a sense of justice and a cool head, who felt that Xi Wu had the purpose of "countering violence with violence".
Later, Yonggu Township set up a self-defense force, recruited soldiers in various villages, and selected him. With a strong civilian self-defense force, the bandits were avoided, and Yonggu Village was able to have good security.
Since Chen Guiting served as the captain of the Enemy and Pseudo Self-Defense Forces, he still harbored the ideal of Protecting the Family and driving out the bandits.
The villagers in the township all know him, and the captain relies not only on martial arts, but also on his character, he governs the team very strictly, works bravely, loves the people, and if the regimental members under him invade the people, he will never tolerate it, even if it is relatives and old friends.
However, although he was indignant at the evil deeds of enriching himself and being unkind to the rich, he was unable to govern them, and could only swallow his anger.
Raid on the township office
In 1947, Ye Xiangrong sent Zhi Qifen to lead Chen Rujie and more than 10 other people back to Yonggu to carry out propaganda, raise grain and borrow guns, and expand the team.
In order to cooperate with the Huainan Uprising, the guerrillas chose the Yonggu Township Office as the target of attack.
But how can you avoid a hard battle with the Self-Defense Forces?
At this time, guerrilla Kong Qingshi said that Chen Guiting, the leader of the Yonggu Self-Defense Force, was his fellow villager, he lived in a peasant family, he was loyal in nature, full of a sense of justice, and he had more prestige in the hearts of the townspeople of Yonggu Lian'an and could be contacted.
At the secret meeting, Chen Guiting and Zhi Qifen saw each other as they always were, expressed their minds directly, and their thinking was inclined to the guerrillas, so they offered suggestions and suggestions and reached the first willingness to cooperate.
On the night of August 15, 1947, the Huainan Uprising broke out.
That night, Ye Xiangrong led a part of the guerrillas to attack the Yonggu Township Office, and because Zhi Qifen and other personnel had won Chen Guiting's "Self-Defense Force holiday" beforehand, kong Qingshi, who was stationed in the security police squad, made an internal response, and the guerrillas rushed into the enemy's garrison without a single bullet, captured more than a dozen enemy personnel, took the Yonggu Township Office, and the captured guns and ammunition were used to arm the guerrillas, and the grain and materials were distributed to the people.
Smart self-defense forces
Yonggu's guerrilla struggle work was also carried out with great sound and color, which had a positive impact on Chen Guiting.
At that time, the Kuomintang militia organization in the township was called the Self-Defense Force, and in order to disarm the Yonggu Township Public Office Self-Defense Force, Zhi Qifen sought out Chen Guiting to cooperate again.
This time, Chen Guiting, who was full of righteousness, was determined to join the revolution and conspire for major events, agreeing to cooperate with the outside world.
On the evening of December 20, 1947, after reconnoitring the situation, the guerrillas traveled in disguise and quietly arrived at Yongguwei.
As expected, Chen Guiting, the captain of the Self-Defense Force, who was playing mahjong on the street, was targeted, surrounded several people who were playing cards, and then several people joined forces to arrest them, and reached out a pistol to resist Chen Guiting, and pledged him to the Self-Defense Forces station, and he asked the guards to open the gate.
Just as a sentry in the Self-Defense Forces offered to search for the comers without smiling, Chen Guiting stepped forward with an arrow and knocked the sentry to the ground, and the guerrillas controlled the sentry and handed over his gun.
Then the guerrillas rushed up and rushed straight into the courtyard of the Self-Defense Forces. Suddenly, two tuanding took up their spears, while the guerrillas took the two men's arms from behind and held them with their arms and bodies, brandishing their knives and killing them.
Then rushed into the house, subdued 10 regiments, cleaned up the results of the battle, and captured a total of 9 rifles and more than 300 rounds of ammunition.
Seeing that the weapons were in hand, the guerrillas signaled to the sky and then quickly withdrew.
After that, Chen Guiting joined the guerrilla group and was transferred to the guerrilla area of Guangning Siyong (now part of Kengkou Town) and served as a military instructor in Zhang Qing's (Liu Nairen's pseudonym).
Fighting in Huainan
At the beginning of 1948, the guerrilla struggle in Huainan had shifted to the stage of taking the initiative to attack the enemy and vigorously expand the troops and areas of activity.
In May, he joined the guerrillas commanded by Chen Sheng, attacked Fengchuan Lianduwei, captured the enemy township chief alive, captured more than 30 township troops, and surrendered more than 30 guns, shaking Fengchuan and Kaijian counties.
When the soldiers returned to Huaiji Bridge, the guerrillas took advantage of the situation to destroy the tuba in the two villages of Shidong and Xishan, which greatly boosted the fighting spirit of the army and the people.
Chen Guiting was always brave and fearless in battle, leading the way and galloping in the forefront of the battle.
In August of that year, the Kuomintang reactionaries, under the conspiracy of the pseudo-security regiment to strengthen their troops, united with the reactionary army of Yangshan County, and with the superiority of troops and weapons, frantically attacked the Siyong area in the old district of Guangning County.
The sky, rainbow lightning flashing, booming.
Chen Guiting insisted on anti-sweeping with the team, calmly and calmly responding to the battle.
In his battles and maneuvers with the enemy, he has the ability to fight alone and the will to fight with trapped beasts.
In order to preserve its strength, the column headquarters and the main force of the Guangdong-Guizhou-Xiangbian Column stationed in Siyong were transferred in time.
The enemy's retaliation was to the extreme, and it was even more frantic to strafe the positions of the remaining guards.
Chen Guiting, in order to cover the transfer of comrades, died on the battlefield at the age of 46.
Chen Guiting's son and daughter were also killed in the course of the Battle of Siyong.
